I took my girls here for the "Screen on the Green" showing of Inside Out 2. It was the first time we had gone since the amphitheater was built and I must say it is very nice! This was also their first "Screen on the Green". They have a park area for the younger kids to play, and there is also an area where water is sprouting from the ground where the kids run can through and get wet (like Centennial Park). They had food trucks, too, in the event you didn't pack anything. We came well prepared with packed sandwiches, snacks, and drinks! We really enjoyed it! Unfortunately, due to the weather, they had to cut the movie short. But we will definitely be back for the next one. Biggest drawback is that don't have enough handicap parking. Sometimes they even block off some if the parking with cones So seniors have a hard time visiting any events at the amphitheater. Read moreNicer than I expected! The amphitheater is first rate on many accounts. Their sounds sytem, large screens, and stage are really impressive. The food is very good and well priced ($10 for a double burger) and the beer garden has a lot of options and is also reasonably priced. There is also a large and modern playground as well as children's climbing structures strewn about the lawn area. We were lucky enough to get tickets to LeAnn Rimes and had a great time! We're looking forward to bringing the kids...
