BUYER BEWARE!!! PLEASE READ ALL REVIEWS BEFORE PATRONIZING THIS BUSINESS!! I paid a deposit of $230.00 on 8/3/2023 for a custom outfit to be ready for an event on 10/7/2023! Well, Kelly waited until late September (last minute) to even get started. Once she did start, my travel schedule for work became heavy and she was aware of this.

She was supposed to contact me for a fitting. Well, I never heard from her so I contacted her on 10/5/2023 to see how things were going. She told me that she had the date mixed up and thought my event was on 10/17/2023. I told her I didn't understand how she could have the date mixed up when she had planned to attend the event herself at one point.

Moving forward, I told her I still wanted my outfit on time. She told me that she was not going to rush and work under duress. As of 11/20/2023, the event has come and gone, and I STILL DO NOT HAVE MY OUTFIT, BUT SHE HAS THE FULL DEPOSIT!!

I disputed the transaction with my bank, but she used her policy posted on her website that reads, "Custom made items sales are final. Deposit Required" to win the dispute. She never personally gave me a receipt or a written contract. However, how can a sale be final when I never received anything?!?! She is a thief! PLEASE DO NOT GIVE HER YOUR MONEY FOR ANY CUSTOM ITEMS!!!! YOU WILL NEVER RECEIVE IT AND YOU WILL BE OUT OF YOUR HARD EARNED MONEY!!!

RESPONSE TO A THIEF: Kelly, please post your receipts (texts) because you are the liar! Your bitter response proves that! And I guess the other customer who stated she never received her custom item after paying a deposit on 6/29 is lying too?

Yes, I purchased a shirt for my sister from you, and so what if I didn't share photos with you for a month. I am NOT obligated to share any of my personal photos with you!!

Regarding the embroidery, you mis-spelled the word "Installation" on the sample you created and your stitching was messy, and you were way over priced, and I never gave you a $220 deposit for the embroidery job so this deal was never a commitment. I decided to give my business to 4Imprint instead! They did a much better job than you and were half the price you quoted.

And I have found a more reliable and professional seamtress too! You will soon be out of business with your poor...

I came to Kelly on 6/29 for a custom dress to attend a wedding, that I needed to have by 8/17. We agreed on a price that I was happy to pay. Kelly provided the material as well. This is where it all went wrong. On 8/8 she informed me that she ran out of material for the most important part of the dress, a dramatic 3 layer puffy fishtail look. She tried to use some alternative material samples that just didn’t match at all. So I tried to compromise, I asked her if she had enough material left to do a less dramatic look 1 flat layer at the bottom. I didn’t want a Mitch match dress. She said yes. I then asked for a price reduction, $30-$40 because the material or labor was way less than the original look and she refused. I’m not the one to bash anybody, the work that she did so far was good. I can’t spend my money with someone who refused to negotiate especially when they are at fault. I refused the dress and told her to keep the down payment which was half and took my loss. My advice is that if you use her, purchase your own material so that you won’t be without a dress...

My experience is very good. I’m learning how to sew and at this point I’m very happy and surprised how the owner is super nice, professional available and very attentive because with me who my first language is French, she’s doing all what she can to make me understand the lesson and communicate with me. I really appreciate and the place is cool safe and quiet. I love it. Highly recommended. I’ll tell you more at the end of my classes. Sorry for my bad...
