We stumbled across T's Brunch Bar while walking around Arbor Place Mall. Brunch and bar were all it took for us to walk in. The customer service was great with southern hospitality. It used to be the Old Johnny Rocket, but Ms. T has put a spin on this place. The eye catcher was the mimosa flight (all smiles). The flight was not a shot glass of a drink but a flute of her four flavors, mango, strawberry, pineapple, and peach. But let's not stop there, the food was flavorful, and the presentation was mouth watering. I had the seafood grits. The grits were creamy. The seafood was two large pieces of crispy fried fish, craw fish, shrimp, and lobster just booming with flavor. Every fork full had a piece of seafood. They don't cheat you out of seafood. Oh, let me not forget about the honey buttery biscuit on the side. It reminded me of my mom's fresh baked biscuits. I was impressed with the food and the staff checking on us. It's inside the mall on the food court level but in its own corner. We were able to see the hustle and bustle of Mall shoppers. I recommend T's brunch and bar on your next shopping adventure .

This spot occupies the old Johnny Rockets location in the mall, so you can already picture the setup. I visited on a Monday and was seated quickly with prompt service. Now, onto the food: Steak and Eggs: Unfortunately, the steak was disappointing—chewy, overly fatty, and not worth the price. The eggs were overcooked and dry, far from the fluffy texture you'd expect. Larger potatoes would also elevate the dish. Catfish Sandwich: My sandwich was enjoyable overall. The batter did break away from the fish, but the flavor was solid. Beignets: They were good, but the upcharge for puréed fruit is steep and might deter some people. Consider offering more affordable dipping options like chocolate or caramel alongside the powdered sugar. Overall, I recommend rethinking the steak—both the quality of the cut and preparation. With a few tweaks, this place could shine.

I recently visited T’s Brunch Bar in Douglasville, and while the food was tasty, the pricing was a major disappointment. I ordered the oxtail omelet, which was flavorful but clearly a creative use of leftovers, with maybe two eggs, a small portion of grits, and a biscuit (which looked great but went uneaten as I don’t eat bread). My husband had scrambled eggs (again, maybe two), a sliced chicken sausage, a biscuit, and a small side of potatoes. The total for our meals? A staggering $75! For the portion sizes and quality, the prices felt unreasonably high. On the positive side, the service was friendly and attentive, and the ambiance was really nice. While the presentation and atmosphere were enjoyable, the value just didn’t match the cost. Unfortunately, I can’t recommend this spot unless you’re prepared to overpay for small portions.

Flies, gnats, old food, and diarrhea—Oh My! Should I go on? We were sat in the back and it was warmer than the rest of the restaurant. We were told the A/C could not be turned on because it would make the kitchen hot. Why sit people there if you know there is an issue that would cause discomfort? I personally had the seafood pasta and oxtail and gravy biscuits. I also ordered a seafood pasta to go for another person. I was initially told there were no more oxtails and gravy and then was told never mind. When I got the order, it was very little oxtails pieces and not enough gravy for all the biscuits. The cost did not match the portion. Additionally, it was room temperature. The taste was OK. The seafood pasta really only had cocktail (tiny) shrimp in it and I could not visibly see any other seafood in it. The taste was good, but the presentation was not as described on the menu and was overpriced for what was received.

Another person in the party was disappointed by the small size of the crab fingers. Another could not eat their catfish as it was described to be soft and mushy indicating it was old and possibly thawed and refrozen. Their waffles were also very light in color and not enjoyed. Another was not satisfied with their grits while another was missing sauce for their salmon croquets.

Granted it’s summer, but there were a good amount of flies and gnats inside the venue.

We were rushed out being told they wanted to clean our table while another table was still seated and allowed to enjoy their time in peace—they were sat before us. It is of note that this message did not come from our server.

A staff member could be heard saying they are ready to go home.

The music was really loud. It made it difficult to hear and enjoy conversations.

Several persons got stomachaches and diarrhea as a result of the...

My aunt and I decided to visit this place this past Sunday for brunch. I should've known when we walked in, we should've walked right back out. The hostess was sitting there having a conversation while we waited to be seated. If it wasn't for the guy who worked there as well that she was talking to pointing to us letting her know we need to be seated, we'd probably still be standing there.

We're finally seated, our waiter comes to the table to take our order and another waiter rudely interrupts to let our waiter know he needs to take another table's order as if he isn't already attending to a table, my aunt gave him a look, he immediately apologized for the interruption and we were allowed to finish giving the waiter our order.

Our appetizer arrived with our food so technically it was no longer an appetizer. We had to wait on silverware, syrup, and hot sauce. We told our waiter and he's trying to get the hostess to get us some silverware (the same one being inattentive to customers because clearly her conversations are more important) So the food is just sitting there getting cold while we wait for silverware and condiments, by the time we receive them, the waffle isn't hot at all, it's not even lukewarm which makes me think it was cold before arriving to the table & the cheese on the grits isn't melted at all.

Mind you they do have a 20% gratuity added for cold, mediocre food, waiting to eat until you get silverware & condiments, and the music is so loud! I paid over $100 and could have had better food at Waffle House. Don't waste your...

So I decided to take myself out to brunch on my day off and decided to go to T's Brunch Bar and I can't say I was disappointed. The service was good, the atmosphere was good, and my meal was actually really good! I was a struggling to decide between the salmon croquettes, seafood omelet, and the fish sandwich bc I really wanted fish. The waitress Shekia was really nice and suggested I go for the marta that comes with 4 decent size pieces of fried shrimp, fried catfish, grits (I added cheese), and whatever flavor waffle of your choosing. I chose the strawberry waffle that comes with cream cheese icing and fresh pieces of strawberries. Everything on the plate was delicious. The shrimp and the catfish came out hot and well seasoned! The grits and cheese I will say I wish would have came out a little hotter in temperature, but I can't be mad bc my cheese still melted and they were still good! My first time ever having a strawberry waffle and it was really good! I usually like my waffle a little harder but the way it's cooked taste like a strawberry cake with cream cheese icing! Even after warming up the rest of my waffle up at home it still tasted the same! With that said, I will be back, hopefully on a Sunday! I over heard another waitress mention it's a vibe and I am always down for good food...
