him I was trying to tell her what he told me he then states “let me tell her that myself” but why not mention it to her right away like you mentioned to me. My girlfriend called me on the phone later and said he threatened to dock our time if we keep talking to each other. We booked an hour time frame got on right on time and were pulled 17 minutes early so we only got 43 minutes of ride time because of this life guards made up rules. Also when he said more jet skis were going to hit the water soon that happened about 20 minutes later. If he stated try not to slow down and stop to talk too much once those other skis started I would've understood but this guards whole attitude was just horrible. He also got mad at me for getting too close to another ski when a passenger fell off the back and the driver of that ski turned around. If anything thats an un expected situation that occurred. We were well over 100ft away still and I tried to move away as fast as I could. Only way ill come back here is if they accommodate the time loss I had for something so petty. I will be leaving a review on google as well. If this one life guard was not at the location at the time I was there I would honestly rate this place 5 stars but one employee can change a rating by a lot by the way they are. He stood out compared to all the other workers. I also did the water tubing and had a boat driver and he was a gentlemen very down to earth guy who was very nice and cool had a ton of fun. But since theres that one horrible life guard who's there for the jet skis ill probably be taking my business else where with a jet ski spot that has 5 stars...
Read moreI researched places to go with our dog and this came up. When we arrived the lady at the counter said we couldn't come in unless we purchased a rental and pointed to a sign that showed jet skis for $60 an hour. We got back in our car, I called and ask to speak to a manager who then told me I could purchase a kayak rental for 25 and come in (all we were asking to do was throw a ball on the beach for our dog). The manager on the phone said come back and we'll have treats for your pup. We came right back and the same girl who was so unhelpful before said the manager was now in a meeting (in the 5 min it took us to walk back up) and never even acknowledged our dog, just took our money and sent us on our way. We went in and no sooner started playing with our dog and they told us there was a wedding going on and we would have to stay in one corner of the already very small sandy area. I was not happy with the customer service or the fact that I just saw they have a groupon they also could have referred me to instead of charging me $25 and not telling me until after that we wouldn't even be able to really use the space. In addition to making us feel like we were not even suppose to be there (in the small space we were cornered to they were doing landscaping and it just wasn't an enjoyable...
Read moreThis is such a cute place with fantastic staff and equipment! We came to rent jetskis but then switched over to kayaks and the staff were really flexible and kind. Austin, Jordan and Christina were so helpful. The equipment we used was all really nice, well taken care of, up to date and of nice quality. Everything worked perfectly and we had zero issues with anything.
The location is really nice. It's a little oasis in the city. The area is small so it's especially good for someone who is new to jet skiing or other water sports. If you're a seasoned rider, the space might be a little small for you. I would recommend going later on in the day when more people are out. The kayaking was wonderful and there is a lot of wildlife and beautiful plants life especially on the left hand side of the lake.
I had no idea they do events and it is the perfect setting for a unique event location. They have a great cozy/rustic setting going on with nice lighting and a lot of seating right on the water as well. It would make a great setting for an adventurous wedding or birthday party...
