Went to the new location in Old Town Kissimmee on 192, honestly didn’t have service so didn’t have a chance to look anything up to read reviews. I saw a sign for Tacos and was craving them so talked hubby into winging it and trying it. Upon entering I noticed how clean and new everything was, the only thing off-putting for me was the sewage smell, so NOT let that make you run though! When I went to order we got Birria Tacos, beans and rice, and 5 tacos (2 steak, 1 chicken, 1 pork and 1 barbacoa). It was roughly $38, a little pricy for me but I was hopeful. Upon ordering I was talking to the lady and she told me they JUST opened on Tuesday, so I was really excited to be trying such a new location! When we got our food they came out on plastic plates? Which as a mom of a toddler I appreciated. We got 3 sauces, 2 green and a red. All had a little bit of spice, but the green ones were my fave. Of the 5 tacos, the steak was my least favorite because it was a little dry, but it had really good taste. I loved the pork tacos the most, with the barbacoa coming in a close second. The birria tacos were amazing! I believe it was the barbacoa meat, they were moist, flavorful, and had a LOT of cheese! These are by far the best “authentic” tacos I’ve ever had, they reminded me of food truck tacos which was EXACTLY what I wanted. We will 100% be coming back and going out of our way just to come here. The refried beans are the best I’ve ever had. Please do yourself a favor and come here if you want GOOD tacos! Can’t wait to try other things...
Read moreMy wife and I were on the hunt for somewhere to have a late night snack, my wife saw this place on our maps app and saw the reviews so we decided to go and try it out. At first my wife and I were a little concerned that it was next to a gas station and contemplated even going, but we said " let's walk in and see what the ambience is like" The lady that took our order was so polite and welcoming. We decided to get five tacos, Two carne asada, 3 barbacoa, chips and guac. Let me start with the tacos, the tacos were super juicy very very well seasoned, the carne asada was juicy, when I would eat carne asada in other authentic taco places they were very dry. These are amazing, the barbacoa was sooooo good, juicy as well and very very flavorful. The guac was visibly home made, there were small chunks of hasvacado in it, the seasoning was on pint, very fresh. After me and my wife had finished eating, We decided to skip the line just to tell the lady at the counter that the food was absolutely delicious. We even looked at the people in line and told them that they are in for an amazing food experience. Some of the people admitted that this is the first time they visit this location. Thanks for the amazing food and service...
Read moreSorry about the photo—by the time I realized I should have snapped a shot of our orders and drinks, it was already too late 🤣. But honestly, that’s a good sign because we dove right in and didn’t stop until we finished everything.
My margarita was really good and strong enough that I was happy with just one. We shared five tacos—chicken barbacoa and carne asada—and all three flavors were fantastic. I topped them with green sauce from the sauce bar and freshly squeezed lemons—talk about fresh ingredients!
We ended up smelling like tacos and onions long after, which is a sure sign of how fresh everything was.
This place is a hidden gem—a hole-in-the-wall spot that might not have chilaquiles or chile relleno on the menu, but they definitely deliver on burritos, tacos, guacamole, margaritas, and more.
I’ll definitely need to come back! I was surprised it wasn’t busier, maybe because of the exterior appearance and its location connected to a gas station, but that’s exactly why I’m supporting this place!
It deserves more customers to stay open, and I’m glad I found it. It’s my first visit, but definitely...
