Read moreStaying at the Fairfield Inn just a short walk from Bahama Breeze we walked over to have dinner. There were a few families with children walking into Bahama Breeze and we were not sure this was the place for our dinner. Once there we decided to go to the outdoor covered part instead of the indoor section. We went to the bar and got two stools and decided to eat at the bar. This is a large restaurant and most families were eating inside. There was a musician playing steel drums and singing giving it a nice vibe. Inside it is a great place for families with a bunch of round tables and bench seating. While it was busy the design of Bahama Breeze gives it an open, not crowded feeling. I liked both the design of the inside and outside areas.
We ordered drinks as we looked over the menu. We both had the Ultimate Margarita with Casamigos Tequila and asked for light Agave. We loved our drinks. The bartender was friendly and efficient making drinks for people sitting at the bar and also was the service bartender keeping her busy.
For dinner I had the Blackened Mahi Tacos ($14.49), flour tortillas filled with shredded cabbage, tomato salsa, cilantro and zesty lime aioli with a side of guac. My wife had the Honey Butter Crispy Chicken Sandwich ($13.49) housemade jerk honey butter, citrus mayo and pickle on a toasted brioche bun and Black Bean Soup. We both had a house salad.
We will look for other Bahama Breezes...
Read moreWe visited again after 2 years on 5/31/24. Though things have changed a bit since we were last here. It was still very good service, drinks, and food. It was very crowded when we went thia time, compared to last. Still music on Friday nights on the patio area outside. We went with the yuca cheese sticks, and we highly recommend it. Come with a couple of sauces that compliment the sticks perfectly. Had the salmon tostada salad and mahi tacos. Both are very good. So very similar to the last time we were here. They go above and beyond to everything good in a chaotic, busy restaurant. I am still impressed. Shout out to Eziel for making our visit perfect after a rocky start.
Great choice of cocktails and happy hour choices. Went for dinner on Wednesday 4/27/22. Our waiter was Chris, and we recieved some of the best service. He also made recommendations for live music venues coming up of reggae and steel drums. Caring, funny and charismatic to boot.
I had never been to this restautant so I was impressed. The food had great island flavor and the menu choices quite vast. It was difficult to make a decision or choose. I recommend the avacado stack for the flavor combination of seafood with the avocado. Also the tostada salad for the flavor of the salsa spread over it with black beans and fruit.
Happy with the great service, drinks and food. Will return when we visit...
