Went in the kraken for a field trip with some friends. We went to row 3 or 4 and turns out two of the seats were broken. scared for my life. My seat (the thing that doesn’t make you fly away)wouldn’t click and had to be hold on by the seat belt. The seat would wiggle which made me on panic mode leading to me crying because I didn’t feel safe. I’m not overweight to the point where it doesn’t fit i’m perfectly in a size suitable for the seat to click. I yelled to the worker asking if it’s suppose to wiggle since I heard of some rides doing that to bring more fear, the worker IGNORED ME. I was yelling too, really loud. So then the ride started, I was panicking as we were about to reach the drop. All the worry and panicking caused me to press the seat really hard to my chest with all my strength causing me to not even yell or have my eyes open for the thrill. all this stuff because a worker didn’t confirm I was safe. Either way the seat wasn’t suppose to be wobbly. I was so paid attention to my life and the seat that i didn’t even enjoy the ride, nor the service. As a Roller Coaster addict, This ride and service has made me way more scared of Seaworld rides. Never going on again. P.S all of this also occurred for my other friend on the other broken seat she did the same...
Read moreMeh ride, Horrible experience. I got into line with my friend (his birthday) and his father + my sister, when we were approaching the ride it said closing early at 5:00 so we got into line at 4:58, we were super stoked we got there in time but since the line was low for front row we hopped to get front row but as it was finally our turn to get on a ride op told us to go into a different row since that one was filled and since it was the last train of the day, So as approaching the different row and tried to get another ride op told us “We’re not letting you on” right in front of my friends father, I am extremely disappointed at the lack of professionalism and service, this was extremely disappointing to my friend and again, It was his birthday!, this was also very upsetting that the workers were not nice at all about it and didn’t say sorry or didn’t compensate us with nothing, No apology NOTHING. And I’ve been on this ride before and it’s only meh just go to a a different ride with...
Read moreKraken is one of the best floorless looping coasters out there, and is a fun ride. Though I do prefer the likes of Hulk, Kumba, and Montu for a mega-looper coaster, you can more than get your fix with Kraken. With a large 150 foot drop, 7 inversions, and feet dangling near the track, Kraken isn't a slouch. The first loop, zero g roll, and final surprise corkscrew are my favorite moments. The ride is very well paced with large, whippy, forceful loops and rolls in the first half. The second half only has two flips, but makes up for it with a couple extra drops into trenches and tunnels, plus interaction with the water and tentacle theming at the ride's entrance. Be wary, however, that Kraken is a bit rough in the back rows. For a smoother ride, I...
