My experience at this establishment was HORRIBLE. The food was great, however the staff and management were extremely rude and disrespectful. I asked my waiter (Spencer) for my check and had a gift card to this establishment. It was the only reason I had decided to go there this evening. Upon receiving my check I put my debit card and gift card on top of each other, and placed them on top of my receipt. The waiter came and took the receipt, with BOTH cards stacked on top of each other and left. After he came back I looked at the receipt, ready to leave a tip, and noticed that the amount charged to my card was the entire sum of my order, with no reductions or indications of the gift card being used. So when he came back towards our table I waived him over, and politely asked if he had used the gift card on my total. He suddenly got extremely defensive and rude, and frantically starts saying “what?!”, “There was only one card with the receipt, you need to check you purse or wallet sis, because I didn’t have a gift card” and basically assumed that I was the one who had made a mistake. I very calmly said no, I am 100% sure that I gave you the gift card, as I had both cards stacked on top of each other. He then threw everything out of her pockets onto our table, and goes “See?! I don’t have it”, when I never accused him of taking it in the first place. He then snatched up the bill and stormed off. As we were waiting we saw him stomp towards the back, go speak to the manager who started rolling his eyes (which I assume means he told him that we were trying to pull a fast one over on him, when I had plenty of money to pay for my bill). After about 10 minutes he comes back, says “I took the gift card money off, you don’t need to do anything else.” And stormed off without an apology, explanation, or anything else. I felt like I was handling this situation with a child, and felt extremely disrespected. Not only was he instantly placing the blame on me, but then had the nerve to call me “sis” as if we are friends or she knows me on a personal level. My intentions were never to be rude or difficult, I just knew that I had a $25 gift card that I gave to him, and when my debit card came back my gift card was gone, but the bill was still the same. I never thought that he had stolen the gift card or anything, and had assumed that it fell on the way to the cash register. However, after the way he got so defensive so quickly... I can only assume that this is the case and he was angry because he got caught. I will never be going back to this establishment, and wanted to write this review to let everyone know that if they do go here, make sure you don’t get Spencer as your server. I have never had a worse restaurant experience in my...
Read moreLet me start off by saying, I never ever complain at restaurant about my food, order, etc. I have only ever sent a meal back once in my entire life.
What an absolute abomination of an experience at this BWW. I have been to several other BWW throughout Florida & never experienced anything like this. I will say the manager was the only saving grace at this location.
The evening started off with 2 vodka cranberry drinks, neither of which actually had any alcohol at all. I know some folks will read this & say they measure but seriously. They forgot the alcohol. So we very politely asked the waitress (who was clearly overwhelmed as it is) if they can remake them. No snide remarks or claims of bad bar tending. Just "can you please have the bartender remake these?". Her reply "I will just put them in a smaller glass. No lie. She just poured the cranberry juice in a smaller glass. Off to a great start.
About 5 minutes into ordering our food, much to our surprise the first chicken wings come out with an order of fries but they are the wrong wings. We tell the waitress they are the wrong ones & she says they are Nashville hot so she picks them up and aggressively slides them to the other person at our table. At which point she tasted them & they are in fact not Nashville hot but some sweet glaze BBQ or something. We tell the waitress and she takes them off the table. Now at this point, we speak to the manager because her attitude is outrageous. Shortly after, our actual food comes out. Still in her hand about 8 minutes later is the wrong order. She had the audacity to come to our table & say "so you got your chicken? See it's the same thing". I clearly point out what she is holding in her hand is dark brown & the proper chicken is more on the red-ish side. She rolls her eyes & walks away.
At this point we still had no silverware so we had to go to the front to get that. The last time we ever seen her again was for the check at which point she is clearly defeated. The check was wrong but the manager quickly took care of that. We didn't ask for any check concessions or anything of the sort but we frequent that area often & I will never step foot in that establishment again. Perhaps they are short staffed or something (the place was dead. Maybe 10 tables filled?) but she had a terrible attitude & made sure to take...
Read moreI placed a pickup order for dinner tonight for the 10 wings combo. According to my app, the pickup time was 8:30pm, I showed up at 8:27pm. A nice guy greeted me and went to check on my order. Then a young lady with curly hair asked if I’ve been helped, I told her the guy is checking on my order. She asked for my name, went to the back, and came back up and said it will be another 15 minutes. My response, was …it said it would be ready at 8:30, instead of apologizing she said “well it’s gonna be another 10-15 minutes”. Her tone, hand gestures and neck rolling set me off. I asked her what’s the attitude for, and I kid you not, her response was, “I’m only giving you what I’m getting”. First off, I don’t believe I was giving an attitude at all, it was more-so frustration, second off, if an order says it’s going to be ready at a certain time then it needs to be ready AT THAT TIME. Or at least call someone to let them know that it’s taking a little longer so I’m not just sitting around, because at this point I had just got off work, I’m exhausted, I would’ve ordered delivery but I live a mile down the road, that would’ve been pointless. Shortly after she storms off, she says something to her coworker, but I didn’t hear it because it’s already loud in there. The coworker brings me my food and I ask for a manager. The nice guy that greeted me in the beginning was actually the manager which goes to show he cares to an extent. I tell him what happens and all he says is that he’s going to talk to her and gave a generic apology. I finally get back home and start eating, my wings are dry, and yes I know one of them has a dry rub, but it’s bland, and hardly any seasoning, the wet side barely has any sauce and everything taste burnt, and old. I’m too tired to drive back down the road and plus I have to get up early for work. Normally I have a good experience at BWW, but tonight sucked because I was looking forward to it. I won’t be back for a while, and if I do, I’ll drive out of my way to go to another location. This was awful. And that employee, she doesn’t need to be working with people and customers if she’s giving responses like that. I’m so upset I wasted my money on inedible food and...
