Our family had a truly unforgettable experience at the Manatee Rehabilitation Center in SeaWorld Park in Orlando. We were amazed by the incredible work being done to rehabilitate and care for these gentle giants. The center provided a unique opportunity for us to learn about the importance of conservation and protection of these endangered animals.

One of the highlights of our visit was the innovative shape of the center, which provided a cool and shaded area for us to take a break from the heat of the day. We were able to relax and unwind while observing the manatees in their natural habitat, swimming gracefully and playfully in the water.

The staff at the center were incredibly knowledgeable and passionate about the well-being of the manatees, and we were impressed by their dedication to providing a safe and nurturing environment for these amazing creatures. We saw 1st hand the suffering of mannatees and how important Sea World is for the well being of all sea life. It's very disheartening to see a poor defenceless animal suffer because someone was careless boating. One manatee was cut by prop blades which damaged it's lung and caused that lung to fill with gases. The manatee is now bloated and cannot go under water - it just floats. A couple others were brought in due to malnutrition because they ate plastic that was thrown overboard and now its interfering with thier eating. People, for God's sake, consider your actions. Manatees are one of my all time favorite animals. They're so gentle and calm. I had a wonderful experience going behind the scenes on my rescue tour to learn more about SeaWorld's rescue operations.
