This is a pretty shabby operation. My kid has peanut, tree nut allergies. The app said talk to the supervisor before you order the food. When I asked an employee here who I should talk to, they said there's no one - just talk to the first person in the line serving your food. She said she will give me an allergen menu and forgot about it. I waited for 5 minutes and called her again, and to her credit, she finally did get me the menu.
The first lady in the line serving the food was quite irritated when we informed her of my kid's nut allergy and made a whole show of huffing and sighing. She literally shoved the burger onto the bread for us asking her whether she could change her gloves (since some dessert items have chance of cross-contamination and elsewhere, we've seen people eat Snickers before serving food). She also didn't seem to know what we were referring to - she thought we were vegan and didn't want meat.
Anyways, past this employee of the month, there were paper towels scattered on the ground, the table was sticky and unclean and there was practically no assistance whatsoever.
The burger was really bad. One burger, some slices of bacon and queso. That's it. We had to add a lot of condiments to it to make it better. The taco was totally mediocre.
On its app, Seaworld says all its locations are trained to take care of food allergies (despite Shark Grill employees being the most trained). To their credit, most of the locations (except the Pizza place) dont serve peanut products. But from going here and the other Flameside Grill restaurant, I find that their employees are poorly trained or even sensitized to...
Read moreWaited almost an hour for quick service food, it's a very inefficient process despite employees standing around rearranging oranges or standing around while the hot food prep team was having to restock themselves and couldn't keep up with orders or get ahead of them. The line wasn't exceptionally long, it was clear where the holdup was (hot food), potentially too many steps for the assembly of each offered item when you don't have a prep ahead system or helpers (willing to help you instead of standing there). We started to joke the oranges are making more progress than we were in getting anywhere. Heard many people complaining behind us as well and groaning each time someone behind the counter stopped to talk to one of the hot food prep team members which was frequent and caused a delay. The salads only have salsa or Caesar salad dressing as the dressing options. The far side of the restaurant smelled awful, like stale dusty air with mildew. There are definitely better places to eat at SeaWorld. (The Voyagers BBQ was better managed and...
Read moreWe waiting in line for over 30 minute's at a school type cafeteria. Being it was News Years Eve though we knew it would be busy. When we took our trays to the area where they gave us our food, I was shocked that they were serving hamburgers, chicken and beef out of metal tubs. Fries, half cooked bacon, hamburger buns, and chicken nugget's in open tubs also. I ordered the “loaded potatoes”. She plopped soggy Luke warm fries in a bowl placed a couple of spoon fulls of cold chicken on top and asked me if I wanted cheese. Even though they had melted cheese sauce, she sprinkled a spoonful of cold shredded cheese on top. I can honestly say this was the worse meal I ever experienced on a vacation. And for the 4 of us only $140.00! McDonald’s would have been better. There are nice places to eat in the park and I’m sorry I was led to eat at this place. And very little to choose from on the menu. Way overpriced, fast food cafeteria type, Luke warm or cold, and not freshly made and tasted like gas station food....
