The manager here, I believe his name is Andrew, has helped resolve the only two issues I have had in the multiple years of shopping with Rise Eagan. In a business where customers are more likely to try and complain to get a āfreebieā or additional store credit, Rise does a great job of understanding that, but in a way that still allows them to help fix the legitimate issues/mistakes that some experience.
Most companies in this industry donāt resolve issues a customer raises after leaving, because it can be hard to prove the validity of the claim, it can become a slippery slope, and by not doing it mitigates people taking advantage, which hurts the business. Iām shocked at some of the negative reviews Iāve seen on here, because from my experience, these are either one off situations (we are all imperfect humans), they are grossly exaggerated due to frustration, or more than likely, they are people trying to get something for free, sadly.
The fact that Rise understands this and is still more than willing to fix a problem if a legitimate one arises proves that any comment about the lack of customer service is completely inaccurate. Rise has fantastic customer service and the people there genuinely enjoy what they do and helping you out. Iāve seen customers get upset and frustrated while at the dispensary and usually it comes out that the mistake was on their end, and not on the shop. The average time it take me to pick up my order after I walk in the doors, is 5-10 minutes.
I will always go to rise when I need something from the dispo, and will always strongly recommend it over the other medical dispensary company in the state. Iām bad with names but Iām pretty sure the manager Iāve dealt with before name was Andrew, and Iāve always had great interactions with the gentleman with the Mohawk (Shawn maybe). Everyone there is respectful and kind, but these gentleman truly have a passion for cannabis as well as providing the best possible customer service. Keep up the good work! It is how you gain loyal customers. You guys rock!
I am curious how much the increased volume from recreational will impact the overall experience, but Iām confident they will continue to to show that the guests having a positive experience is a focal point of their vision, and it reflects in the overall culture of the shop. Iām also hoping that they are able to start selling actual concentrates like pucks of rosin, as opposed to just the...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreMain problems- Flower: every time I receive a jar of &shine flower it is extremely dry and has no smell or flavor anymore, tastes like paper. This bud already costs more than the other dispensary, I have not tried and won't pay even more for rhythm flower until the normal flower is acceptable quality, coming out with flavorful and properly sealed flower at a higher price is an insult after burning people with bad product, we are owed that already. It looks great but has been sitting unsealed for too long and lost all its medicating terpenes.
The new high potency vapes- the oil is water clear with no amber color, it has been over distilled. It tastes like hemp/cellulose, even green goods Botanical Terpene carts have more of a slight flavor and the oil is nice golden and much smoother. This stuff is very harsh and gives muted effects. I am happy that they use cannabis derived terpenes but it's just not enough, 2.5% if I'm correct is not good. At least 5% makes sense.
CO2 oil vapes and vape batteries and all cart- I asked the pharmacist which voltage works best and they said that the "warranty" on the cart only works if we use the dispensaries free battery. That battery burns wayy too hot and I can taste it burning the coil and it gives me breathing problems. After using it the cartridge changes flavor to burnt cotton. I can only safely use these carts on a battery that can go to lower voltages. So am I supposed to buy a cart and let it get burned on your battery every time for indefinite free replacements? Because I will, this is a defect in your carts at the recommended voltage.
That's kind of mean actually. I should be able to have a warranty using my cartridge on a battery that does not hurt me or break down the atomizer. This dark colored CO2 oil does not work well at high temps, vaping cannabis concentrates too hot can create carcinogens. Terrible medical advice. The airflow is so cut off along with the high voltage, it's genuinely unpleasant to smoke the pen if you don't un twist the cartridge to give more airflow in the side holes but there is no instruction to do that. If you use tangerine vapes please go buy a Yocan Uni Pro and dial it in at 2.6v or less to take long low temp hits and you will see how they are really...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreI love Rise! I have been a customer since 2018, starting at the Willmar location, moving to the Eagan store in 2021. I have enjoyed each and every interaction with an incredible, caring, and knowledgeable staff, giving them nothing but 5 stars. That was until yesterday, Mar 4.
I have cancer with significant bone pain so standing and walking are issues for me. At the old location in Eagan, I could walk in and sit on a comfortable chair until they called me up. At the new location, I have to stand in a line they have set up in front of the cashiers.
When I walked in, they had two other customers they were already dealing with. It took each cashier some time to finish with these customers.
I had been waiting in line for almost 10 mins when finally one cashier opened up. No sooner did the customer walk away from the counter, an employee from the room behind the cashiers came walking out, walked straight up to the newly available cashier and said "Close me out now" and proceeded to have the cashier work on her transaction, leaving me stunned and speechless. She was drinking a bottle of her coffee beverage and when she was dome, she just left it in the middle of the counter, having me to hand it to the cashier so she could dispose of it.
I don't fault the cashier too much for this although she should have directed the staff member to wait until she finished with the customer, the same customers that bring the necessary cash flow into a business.
I'm not going to let one bad incident change my opinion about Rise but it has now tainted my view. Very unprofessional and I am very disappointed! I spend thousands of dollars at Rise every year.
Update: The manager called me yesterday, haven't had the chance to speak with him yet but he left the most amazing VM, laying out his vision for the store, its customer experiences, and I was impressed. I won't, and never would, allow one small issue change my appreciation for Rise and their incredible staff. Thank you for reaching out and I look forward to...
