This is a unenforced dog park at the end of the cove. Lots of history here from the early days to now. Many dogs come here and they are mostly unleashed, although it is supposed to be a leashed park. People do not obey the rules. Not sure why they are not enforced. Beautiful land and some trails to explore along the water. Great bird watching and kayaking. The boat launch is before the actual “dog park”. Nice park, just be weary of the dogs that run unleashed.

4 stars for clientele not the park itself. Clear signage that dogs most be on leash and waste removal is required by law. Two separate people allowed their dogs to charge and bark at us while we were trying to enjoy the trail. Dogs were chasing wildlife, waste was everywhere along the trail. Citizens need to be made responsible for their dogs. This is NOT an open dog park.

Great place to bring your dog. Need to have a leash with you but a lot of people take their dog off the leash. Most people pick up after their dog but beware because there are always that one or two people that do not. My child stepped in it too. Not fun. They do provide dog waste bags and a trash cans so no excuse; pick up after your dog. Once and a while dog officers do show up so be prepared to put your dog back on the leash. Others have said they don't write you up as long as you have a leash. Place is huge so dogs can run far and frolic with other dogs. Definitely...

Brought my kids here as we were waiting for my wife to get out of a doctors appointment. None of the dogs were on leashes and one of them charged at my kids from over 50 feet away barking aggressively and i had to kick it away while the owner chased it around to keep it away from my kids. Who were following me walking quietly out of the trail by the field which is all crab grass. They are lucky it didn't bite one of my kids because it would have been the last thing that...
