Witnessed the manger today intervene with an older women, her daughter and boyfriend. The women looked in her 40’s and the kids looked like they were about 15-17. The lady and kids were shopping (together) the kids clearly were picking out the alch. When they went to checkout the cashier did the right thing and asked the kids for their ID’s which they did not have. The manger then stepped in and told the cashier to clear her purchase even though the alcohol was being served to someone who was clearly underage! I a 24 year old man. Then stepped up with my buddy who was buying whiskey for his dad.(we’re both 24) I was then told I must show MY ID even though I wasn’t purchasing in order for my friend to purchase his Christmas gift.
