Literally worse experience. I NEVER leave a google review because I know how it is to have your own business but the audacity these people have. We got there around 2:00 and by the time I paid it was it was 2:09. We order the beef short ribs and the oxtails (this came out to $50 and I paid $5 extra for tip). Red flag number one should have been when we asked for the wait time, they said they couldn't provide one. That's okay because we didn't mind the wait. After an hour and 20 minutes we decided to go back inside and check if the order was done because we still hadn't received the text. When my significant other goes back in they told him another 20 minutes. After another 20 mins of no text (to confirm the order was ready) he went back inside. As he's in there for another 10 minutes he comes back to the car and says that we should consider a refund because they told him it would be another hour before it's ready. At this point it's been 2 hours since we ordered and this would have made it 3 hours so we decided to cancel. Their method of payments are just cash and Zelle so I Zelled the number they gave us. After about 15 mins of waiting for someone to return our money, I only received the $50 back. When we informed them they said they can't refund tips. We didn't even get our food! I waited over 45 minutes for my food, only to discover one of my wing orders was completely wrong. I specifically ordered sweet onion wings (and repeated it twice), but when I got home, I found they gave me plain wings with no sauce.
I had to drive all the way back in the middle of a thunderstorm just to fix their mistake. When I got there, the young lady at the counter admitted, “I didn’t know you wanted sweet onion, my bad.” How do you not “know” when the customer clearly said it multiple times?
To make things worse, she then asked me to send an extra $2—for the sauce—after already messing up my order and wasting my time. Out of respect (especially since this is a Muslim-owned business and I’m Muslim myself), I sent the $2 and politely asked if they could just re-dip the wings so I could actually enjoy them hot.
Instead, the cook came out claiming I “never paid extra,” when I literally had just sent the money. I only sent what the cashier told me to send—it’s not the customer’s job to know exact pricing. After another 15–20 minutes of waiting, I was finally handed a cup of sauce with the excuse that they couldn’t re-dip the wings.
So here I am, back home with cold, soggy wings, extremely disappointed and honestly feeling scammed. I didn’t get what I paid for, and I wasted almost two hours in the process.
