I insisted the sale was on the NEW copy, and they "checked" the price on both and the used showed up at the advertised price. I checked when I got home and the sale was for a NEW UNOPENED copy. The game worked fine, no major scratches, but that's besides the point. I want to support the developers, not add more profit to a company that tries shady tactics like this.
Then on black thursday/friday I tried using a gift card on their website and it kept crashing before the order could be placed, but somehow the gift card balance kept disappearing. The clerks in the store said they were too busy to help me and that I needed to call customer service . I had already tried on Thursday and their customer service center was closed. How are you going to offer major deals online and allow purchases online, but you can't staff a call center for when people's $$ disappears into thin air because your website...
Read moreHorrible costumer service. I had preordered days gone. I was told to be there at 9pm because they weren't allowed to give me the game before that time. Got to the store at 9:04pm because if traffic and rain. The sign still said they were open, there were 3 associates standing in the counter telling jokes and laughing and when I came in all they said was that i couldn't be there, that they had forgotten to lock the door at 9pm and that I had missed the time frame to pick up the game. After arguing about it being 4 minutes and telling him that his other associate told me to be there at this time, he proceeded to close the door in my face and say to be there at 9am next day to pick up the game. Came the next morning at 9am...they don't open until 10am -.-...now I am sitting on my car for an hour waiting for these people to open the store. Never...
