My friend and I tried to eat lunch at this establishment today. We were there as soon as they opened at noon. A group of six of us were seated at one of the hibachi grills. My friend noticed there were ants crawling around the grill. We told the server, and she moved us to another grill. We pointed out that this grill was dirty. The server insisted that it had been cleaned. After we continued to point out the grime and food on and around the grill, the server began to try and clean it. I asked if she could bring out the manager. She came back and said the manager was busy in his office. Then, she went to the server area where she and four other servers began to point and laugh at us. We decided not to eat there, so before we left, I stopped at the server desk to take pictures of the restaurant certifications and documents. One of the servers asked, “Are you guys still going to eat?” We told her we were leaving. She then asked, “What are you doing then?” I told her that I was taking pictures of the restaurant info. She said, “So you can sue about some ants?” All of the servers were young, appearing to be in their late teens to mid 20s. They were rude and didn’t seem to care about our concerns, as one of them stated, “I mean, it’s ant season.” I will NEVER recommend this restaurant to anyone. They had a score of 96, but that has raised concerns for me. If they were aware of the date and time of the inspection, then they could make sure everything was clean and appropriate in the restaurant. Perhaps, restaurant owners are bribing inspectors for good scores. From what I saw today, there’s no way they could have scored a 96. The Fulton County Board of Health should do a surprise inspection on this establishment. Restaurant staff had every intention of preparing our food on a dirty grill with ants crawling all over the table. I took several pictures, one of which shows an ant bite I got while sitting at the table.

So the first picture is what I asked for and the second two pictures are two SEPARATE rolls that they made for me that's supposed to look like the first picture I showed them...I used to come here a few days out the week and I always get the same sushi roll. I noticed a little over a year ago that they was putting to much meat in it. I even showed them pictures of what I was expecting and it would just not be right. It's just too much...like they could legit make me another roll with the amount of extra tuna I pull out of it and throw away. I've voiced my concern several times and they always say "oh most people like a lot in the roll" I get they may think they are doing me a favor but it just ends up being a frustrating mess for me I have to dig each piece of tuna out cut it in half throw half the meat away .. try to get it back in the roll... By this point the roll is falling apart because it was made to fit that big chunk. It hurts my heart because I just adore the employees they are all so sweet and inviting....but that sushi...I just can't do it anymore... The hibachi is on point ... Like it's always good when I eat that...but that sushi bar.... Every time I try it again I say it's going to be my last time.... Well yeah it's official this time I just give up.. at this point I rather just go to Publix...With that being said... Can anyone recommend me another sushi bar nearby to go to? ***Just went to Publix for my tuna roll... Bro when the sushi looks better coming from a grocery store it's a problem. Please let me know when you replace whoever is making sushi or hell hire the dude working at Publix because whatever is going on in this restaurant ain't it***

A family member birthday was Friday and she wanted to celebrate at a hibachi restaurant on Sunday. The price $$$ of meals was not inexpensive. The cost of 2 adults and 3 kids meal was $176 to include $25 gratuity and $11 taxes. A tip was requested on the side and I was not able to keep itemized bill. A tip was given. A parent complained that fried rice was not part meals. Or, these meals had fried rice charged separately. The minimum charge of a kids meal was $17.95. Any combination of steak and chicken meals was $23-$29. Sweetened drinks cost was $13.45 and only Pepsi products available. Waiter was specific in asking if everyone wanted fried rice with meals. The heat of fire from the entertainment was immense. Based on our dining location, we could feel on our arms and necks heat from other parts of the room. There is a separate sushi bar and other areas of dining without the grill. Wait times were less than 30 minutes. Parking in area can be less than ideal due to many restaurants in the area. There were three birthdays celebrated in the restaurant because members of Kiku helped to celebrate birthdays with drums and a song. Patrons are allowed to take home their leftovers. All patrons at dining table received ice cream.

Used to go here 2 to 3 times a week before I moved. Came back after 2 years and this is basically overpriced trash that they serve to a unknowledgable community by low-payed workers in order to squeeze as much profit out of this location as possible.

Spent almost $100 on 8 rolls; one of which they duplicated but I did not find out until I got home to the person who ordered. They serve old fish at inflated prices to people too ignorant to care; and the people only care about spending money to 'impress' others that they eat here - especially considering the amount of takeout orders I saw on the board versus the quality of food.

Lion Kings used to be cooked to perfection; now the fish is just old and it tastes like it has sat around for hours even though I picked it up 40 minutes after I called (ready 30 minutes afterwards according to person on phone). Sadly, the Baked salmon I ordered for someone else tasted better than this only because it was hot, which is disappointing considering the upcharge on Lion Kings.

Dragon roll ... what is this garbage? A small, overpriced roll with no flavor that touts 'deep fried soft shelled crab' but I saw almost none. I have been more impressed by grocery sushi.

Spicy tuna ... my wife used to like these from here. I tasted one and it tasted like bland mush they covered with spicy mayo in order to try to cover up for the laziness or cost-cutting of not putting spice in the tuna mix.

The Super Crunch roll is the last thing I expected to taste decent; it actually tastes like it used to. I am not a big fan of these, but you usually can't screw up Super Crunch rolls since everyone makes some variation of this.

The food on the back burner, the service has always been mediocre; I always expect SOMETHING and one of the workers here always does something lazy... to the point where management has a sign behind the desk to the right to tell them stop 'chit-chat' and stay off the phone.

I walk in about 3:45PM (there is nobody here because the dining room doesn't take customers until 4:30) and there is a guy standing off to the right while the one person trying to work helps her customer. He acts like he is doing something in order to not ask me, the lone other customer, how can he help. The one person working gets through with their customer and then helps me. He goes to the back to then help her with my order by putting chop sticks in the bag. Then his boyfriend walks in and they start chatting up a storm even though he just tried his best not to help me with my order. It is beyond frustrating to see the laziness, but I don't expect much else out of most of the people Kiku hires at this location.

I normally have a waaaay better experience when I go to the location in Fayetteville and I will drive completely out of my way to see them. Kiku / Camp Creek is...

I am giving them a 1 star for mishandling my order, wait time and lack of respect from both managers of the store. I ordered online at 7:15 pm, arrived by 7:45 (time when order was ready), and had to wait an additional 30 minutes for them to fix my order. When it's finally ready, I tell the first manager I want to check my order; they still mess it up. I explain to her that my order isn't right and that I was missing another roll. She impatiently tells me that I'm wrong and that I should check my receipt, which I showed her. After she shrugs me off I request a refund. At that point I ask to speak to the head manager. He explains to me that he can't give me a refund and that I have to go through chow.com. Not only do I have to go through a second party but he does NOTHING to accommodate the poor service, no offer of food, no gift card, dude just walked away nonchalantly. It took the young lady working at the bar to keep me calm after I became upset and began crying just to keep from doing or saying anything that I would regret. I was not raised to be disrespectful nor go into establishments raising hell; this was a moment where I wanted to do so, $60.75 is not cheap for bad service. I cannot support a business that doesn't respect me nor my time. The unprofessional management was a wrap for me. I believe the first manager will probably continue to work there and not be reprimanded for her behavior because she may be related to the head manager (he made no effort to address her nor apologized for her behavior - may be used to it). I'll take my money elsewhere or just learn to make my own rolls, definitely not worth the headache. It's after 9 pm and I've wasted at least an hour and a half with them. I'm heading home now after waiting to decompress and write...
