We enjoyed a weeknight meal to go from this location Olive garden. We were told via the online order that our meal would be ready in 30 to 45 minutes. Once we got to the location we never received a text message telling us our meal was prepared and ready. We actually went to this location about 10 to 15 minutes later than the slated time, it claimed it would be ready to give them enough time to prepare our meal.
When we pulled up, a gentleman came right to our vehicle and asked our name and what we ordered he then went in to look into our order, we assume. But never came back.
Then we proceeded to call inside to the restaurant there to go line and speak with someone that could help us with our order by this time we were about an hour into the process. After we finally got someone on the phone they put us on hold and told us someone would get back to us when they transferred us to the to go line. When someone came back on the phone we told them we were holding about our to go order and that we were outside and they told us to hold on again. Nobody ever came to the phone after that.
Then a gentleman walks up to the car ask for our first and last name and said, we're sorry we kept you on hold but we figured we would just come out here and see what your order was. Which we had already told a different individual our order and our first and last name. He went in to retrieve our order he was back in about 10 minutes he brought everything out, he apologized for the delay and we went on our way.
We did look into the bag to make sure we saw at least what we thought was enough containers of food. And then unfortunately got home and realized we did not have our salads to go with our entree. I immediately called this location restaurant, informed them of the mishap with our salads being left out, and we were told that the gift card would be emailed to me to replace the salads for our next visit. We ordered on Sunday and I have not yet received the gift cards. It may be Lost in Translation. I am going to reach back out to this location to follow up but as of now, October 4th, we have not received the gift cards. Other than that everyone was very cordial and kind, I cannot say the services prompt because we sat for a good amount of time before someone actually gave us our food. However it was not a terrible experience, it was just a little bit frustrating trying to understand why the online order said our food will be ready in 30 minutes or so and it took well over that, we shouldn't even have had to call into the restaurant wondering where our order was or anything else of that nature. I do feel if other individuals visit this location you will have a pleasant experience, we just so happened to have one that was interesting but not necessarily bad. We will return. Our meals were Spaghetti with meatballs and extra sauce, and Chicken tortellini with extra sauce. We enjoyed Strawberry shortcake and Chocolate cake. No salads...
Read moreHello I am a former employee Dranicia (Paris) for Olive Garden I had basically went through training for the camp creek new location during orientation we had to pick a store I picked Fayetteville then I was told that was booked so I picked another one closet to union city and training was supposed to start the next day….I get a voice message from rj that night at 10pm saying that I would have to now go to McDonough which is 40-45 mins away…. Then once we did training and started working there was a boy there who was a employee at that location already made it very uncomfortable to work he would pick and talk about the new people training at that location I would hear him say how he doesn’t like us and call my co workers names as well…. Once it was time to go back to camp creek location (because the building was done and ready to open). I originally told the managers at the point of hire that on the week of the family and friends day I would be in Florida my mother is turning the big 50 no one had a problem but when it was time I then was told the day before that if I missed family and friends day I would have to wait for the ne t round of family and friends day to come around which I was told would be on oct 19 (which I asked 1. Why when I got hired I was told this?….2. I also stayed that we trained at the previous location for a month before ours opened the only thing I didn’t do was serve family andfriend and I also stated it’s what am I to do for work until oct the 19th?) then fast forward closer to the date that I was given I called the location because no one called me to update me ask me if I was coming or anything…. When I called no one knew where my work paper work was, stated that I wasn’t in the system, the gm sent me to the server manager who also stated that they didn’t know what was what which really upset me because that’s who actually hired me I trained and worked picked up shifts 45 mins away from me …I didn’t complain when my training store was changed 3times…but what I am bothered by is me doing all that work and training, to deal with miscommunication from the beginning, to not even getting a call back from the managers about figuring out where my paper work was, what went wrong and how to get me on the schedule as quick as possible, I called left messages, then I asked for the employer so I can file for unemployment since I was never fired. Or quit these people just told me wrong info seem like purposely and will not give me the number so I can make some sort of income while finding me another suitable job …this place has been the worse job I’ve ever worked I’ve also wrote corporate today and will write the daily and leave reviews daily! Horrible place to work these people do not care s out your well being or you as a person how you can’t find an employee off...
Read moreMy daughter said Mom let's get out today it's a beautiful day. So we chose to go to Olive garden. We tried to patronize businesses in our neighborhood and we had never been to this location. I have to say we don't have super high expectations from Olive garden or chain restaurants however we were pleasantly surprised.
It's not good to have this type of view about a business but it is what it is. We had a wait time of about 30 minutes. They gave us 45 minutes to an hour. It was fine we said outside in the sun, people watched and talked to strangers which was just fine.
Finally we went from number 14 to number one and were sad at a table. It wasn't clean it was spaghetti on the floor so I'm assuming some children were sitting here before us however, I will say the staff cleaned up really quick. It did not spoil my eating there.
My daughter ordered a glass of Riesling wine, some type of ziti appetizer and I ordered this spinach dip. You kind of already know what you want when you go to Olive garden. I eventually ordered a glass of Riesling as well because it was really good. We both selected the Tour of Italy because we know that's what's good and we hadn't had it in a long time. I forgot to mention that our server name was Jennie. She is the most sweet, kind and accommodating server. She made sure that we were well taken care of despite it being super busy in this restaurant. Whatever we ask for she made sure it was handled with a smile.
The food as usual was really good. It was blazing hot out of the oven. Honestly we were stuffed from the salad, and appetizers but that's the good thing about Olive Garden. You most definitely will have some for later.
This location was handling at least 3 20 person sections at one time. They did amazing. I have no complaints. I thought I took more pics of the food but I think I was just ready to eat and...
