Horrible! This was my second and last visit in Serene Beauty Lounge 3616 Marketplace Blvd Ste 620 East Point GA. 30344. On my first experience I received a pedicure and a fill with gel polish. During my pedicure the technician nicked two of my toes with the nail file. After receiving my fill the gel polish started peeling off both thumb nails the very next day. I was unable to return to the salon to let them know because I was on a flight headed out of the country. Shortly after I returned to the U.S. I went back to the salon with pictures (including the date the pictures were taken) to show them what happened to my nails. I explained that I needed a new set but didn't feel I should have to pay full price because I didn't get to enjoy my gel polish from my previous service a few weeks ago. The receptionist offered $5 off my new service and also said there would be no charge to soak off my old nails. Knowing that I did not return for the service repair during their 24 hour guarantee policy I agreed because this location was convenient for me and I wanted to give them a second chance. This time I received a pedicure and full set of SNS nails. Once again during my pedicure the technician nicked my toe with the nail file. During both visits I never saw them clean or sanitize any of the equipment used. After completion of both services I went to the register to pay. The receptionist itemized a list of my charges but only discounted $5 for my services. When I reminded her that she told me there would be no charge for the soak off she told me she never said that and that they never discount more than $5. I explained to her that was not the price we both agreed upon. She immediately replied "so you're not going to pay"? I responded by saying "I never told you I wasn't going to pay. You told me there would be no charge for soaking off my nails". She then picked up the phone and told me she was going to call the police. While I waited for her to call the police (which seems to be their standard reaction when dealing with disputes with people from this particular area) another employee came to assist. I explained the situation and he too also told me their policy was they never discount more than $5 and the young lady must have made a mistake. I remained calm during this entire ordeal and paid the unagreed price for my services because I saw trying to hold a conversation with them was going nowhere.

I as a paying customer (who is also a licensed nail technician) will never return to this salon. I will continue my quest to find the nail salon that cares about public health and pleases and services the people that live in this growing South...

Listen to me people, if you go to this salon please make sure to ask for someone who can speak well English or otherwise you will end up with people who will try to upsell you for the most expensive service that not even worth the price. Me and my husband came in last week for a pedicure together, we both just want basic pedicure with regular polish. Nancy did my husband’s pedicure and she was extremely annoyed the heck out of both of us that really frustrating that she wouldn’t respect for the service we chosen. She shown the menu to my husband, he pointed to her that he just want basic pedicure, then she turned other page and pointed to the $65 pedicure “you do this, this better” he said “no, I just want basic pedicure” Then she pointed to $55, he said no again. Thought at this point, she would give up but nope, she keep trying again for the $45 pedicure. By then, I can tell my husband getting upset and look at me like “why are you taking me here”. She then turned over to me pointed out the $45 pedicure “this better for him, he do this better”. At that point, I have enough and screamed at her “no, basic pedicure only, don’t ask again”. Then she started to have attitude toward to my husband by doing very rush and rough on his feet. You can tell the only way she would be friendly if he did expensive service or otherwise she will have bad attitude and did a terrible rush job on the service. After his pedicure is almost done in about 10 minutes that you can’t even tell if she even done anything different. She asked “you do gel” he said no, she then said “gel better”, he shake his head then she asked me “tell him do gel, gel better” . I looked at her “NOOO, no gel “. We both have enough of her and just want to walk out as fast as possible. I want to talk to the manager about this unpleasant experience that we both have but unfortunately there wasn’t any manager around and most of them can’t even speak English to understand what I want to say. I don’t know why this salon keep people like this, so money hungry and unprofessional. So everyone PLEASE MAKE SURE TO ASK FOR SOMEONE WHO CAN SPEAK ENGLISH OR OTHERWISE STAY OUT OF THIS SALON. They only care about taking your money, upsell you to the expensive service that is not even worth it. If you do cheap pedicure or regular polish, they will have bad attitude and treat you like trash. And trust me, they will do a very rush job to get you out of the door. Never come back to this salon again and I will spread around to make sure people to stay out unless they change their ownership and more...

I’ve never been to this salon before but I needed just a quick basic gel pedicure so I decided to try it because it was in the area. I go in I ask how much is a regular pedicure they said 40+15 for jail cool I said do you guys do the scraper because that’s really what I’m here for they said yes so I sit down in a chair and the chair next to me. There are three big spiders sitting in the pedicure tub red flag. So the lady comes down, she turns on the water freezing cold. I asked her to turn it up hotter the chair that I’m sitting in starts moving uncontrollably without me even touching the buttons. She has to stop doing what she’s doing to unplug the chair to get the chair to stop malfunctioning. She does the scraper on the bottom of my feet and cuts the cuticles on my toes and then tries to start painting my toenails without doing anything else. so I ask, do you guys not get ingrown here? Do you guys not buff the toenails here? She said yes, but she would have to sign a sheet of paper for ingrown school. Give me the paper. Oh, we don’t do that here because you may bleed is what she said well, then why tell me about the paper so then I decide you know what since she’s already scraped my feet how much is it to just have sat here in with my feet in the water and scrub she said $55 even though a basic pedicure is 40. I didn’t have any gel on my toes when I say I will never go back to this location and we constantly encourage others never to go to this location ever again on my way out, I saw a roach. So not only do they I get full pedicures, but they need an exterminator and when they’re trying to charge you for the pedicure for your services, their English is damn near perfect but then when they start to add on extra fees and charges, all of a sudden their English is not so good so now I have to pay the $55 for the soak in the water and the scraper of my feet only and now I have to go to a different place because I want a realizing a full...

I went to this salon for a fill in. My nail broke a week after getting it done and I saw that my natural nail was green under it. I also saw that another nail was green too. I called the salon and talked to the manager, Ben, and he told me to bring my receipt to the salon. I did that but I was treated horribly when I went. The nail tech who came over to help me asked if I wanted the broken nail fixed. I said no because I wanted my nails to heal instead of covering up the bacteria/fungus with more acrylic. I asked him why my nails turned green because this has NEVER happened to me and I’ve been wearing acrylic nails for years. I was told that it was because of something I did which is simply not true. I asked for a refund but I was told that they don’t give refunds and “nothing in this life is free.” I told the nail tech that I wanted my nails soaked off so they could start healing and he tried to make me pay $15 to have them soaked off. I told him I wasn’t paying that because of their mistake, especially considering the fact that I got the fill in the week before. He finally agreed to soak them off because he wanted me to leave the salon. The salon manager, Ben, literally never came over to say a word to me. He didn’t even greet me or apologize. I asked several times why I was told to bring my receipt if no one was even going to look at it or give me at least a portion of my money back. The nail tech who soaked my nails off ignored me when I asked. I do not like the way I was treated and I will NEVER go back there.

I Recommend That You DO NOT Go Here .. It Was My First Time Coming Here & As Time Went On We Got To The Nail Polish & She Was Letting It Spill Over & I Asked VERY NICELY .. I’m Not Rude At All I Promise .. So She Took Note Of That & Continued To Clean It .. So I Notice Dead Skin So I Asked Her If She Could Get That & She Took The Cuticle Cutter & Literally Stabs The Hell Out My Toe & Im Like Ouch That Hurts .. Mind You When I Asked She Started Huffing & Puff & I’m Like Okay If I Say Something They Are Just Going To Say This Is So Stereotypical Of A Black Woman So I Kept Calm But Once She Started Putting On The Oil She Started Throwing My Toes & Feet Down & At That Point I’m Just Over It . I Was Ready To Go . Fast Forward To My Boyfriend $20 MANICURE .. That’s The Same Price As My Pedicure & All That Lady Did Was Barely Cut His Cuticles & Polished His Nails . I Have Never Had A Manicure Like That . Even A $10 From My Favorite Nail Salon Was Better Than That . & When I Went To Pay For It I Didn’t Know It Was $20 & I Had Already Paid & I Said Something & The Man Tried To Argue With Me . I Will Never Go Here Ever Again . I Didn’t Even Want My Manicure Anymore After Dealing With Her & That Was The Quickest Pedicure I Ever Got In My Life . Ps- My Feet Are Chipping & I Got Gel .. It’s Only Been 2 Day . I’ve Gotten Gel Pedicures For YEARS Now . Since I First Heard Of Gel Nail Polish & They Always Last A Whole Month With No Chipping .

I have been going to iNails for about a year and have really enjoyed the services….until today. I walked in to get a pedicure, to soak off my acrylic overlay, and get a manicure. What I thought was fairly routine turned into a nightmare. When I sat in the chair, the tech that was assigned to do my nail removal (I believe his name was David) clipped all of my nails short and then took a nail tip and started peeling and ripping my nails off. When he got to my thumb, he took a rather large piece of my real nail off the corner because he didn’t stop when I told him it was attached. I asked if there was another way to remove and he just kept going. It was extremely painful and my thumb was bleeding. Once we made it to the manicure, he did not take his time and every single one of my nails is a different shape with sharp, uneven corners. Once I left to pay, I let the front desk know I wasn’t happy and then they brought David back over to talk to me. He then tells me that my nails were thin and we should’ve soaked them off (ironic, because he made me believe there was no other way even though my original ask was for a soak off). While I had a throbbing thumb and raw skin, I was given a very minimal discount, a basic “sorry”, and told that I would be taken care of next time. I’m not one that writes reviews but felt this was the only way someone else won’t be tortured by the same tech in the future.
