My husband and I had our appointment in the beginning of Feb. We both ordered contacts. A month later I call (because we heard nothing from them), my husband's trials were in. But not my colored contacts. I wait for another 3 weeks and call about my contacts. The first person says they aren't in yet (almost 2 months later!!!). She says she will check with manager and have her call me. I get a call back from the manager who says they are in.
2 weeks later (today), my husband goes into the store to pick them up. They have both disappeared. Neither set of contacts can be found. Then they say it was because we waited so long to pick them up. I'm sorry, we never got a text or a call. Their excuse "do you have spam blocking?". No we don't.
Apparently if you take too long to pick up they "go in a box". We wouldn't have taken so long if we got a phone call or text message. And how are we supposed to know they are there, when they don't know if they are there?
Then when I gave my husband all the details, dates ECT the manager says she never called me. Well then you need to talk to your staff, because they are calling people claiming to be you.
They didn't even know the color of the contacts for me. So, how are you telling me you even ordered them the first time, when you are asking my husband what color they are supposed to be? Then after my husband tells them the color, someone "finds the color in the chart". How convenient!
They are now reordering. If it wasn't that we went through insurance and would have to fight to get it reordered, I would have cancelled the order and gotten a refund.
Let's see how long they take to come in this time. And if we actually get...
Read moreWarning! Went above and beyond to try and convince us they did not take our insurance did you know it’s their policy to try and get you to take their deal and not use your insurance. IT is! They do accept all Medicare and Medicaid and many other vision plans I called multiple times to make sure but then when you get there for your appointment they tell you not at this location. So I called the insurance co and they said not only do all locations accept it but they called them while I was on the phone to confirm for me! I paid for one of us and now it’s a huge ordeal to get it refunded luckily I canceled our other appointment made it at vision works instead they never give me this problem. Today I was telling my client about this she had the same issue! She has one of the best vision plans they tried to convince her of 0 coverage then billed the contacts through insurance and made her pay for her glasses even though she had a allowance through insurance for glasses.. shes also going through refund nightmares. Don’t use unless you’re paying cash ! This is ridiculous people have insurance to use it for things they need not to be scammed ! We all know glasses cost Pennies to make they are making a killing scamming people...
Read moreI had the most horrible experience at the East Stroudsburg, PA location where they ordered my husband's sunglasses wrong three times. The third time they said they can't do what we wanted because the blue mirrored finish color wasn't available even though they said they ordered it 3 times. They tried to tell me that the blue mirrored finish was a Nike signature color and not available. That didn't sound right, mostly because I am not an idiot but also because as a person trained in psychology, I could tell she was lying to me. So I contacted a different America's Best store and the manager there helped me. He confirmed my suspicions that the color we ordered was always available. He was so nice and helpful to order the right sunglasses. Today I went to pick up the corrected pair of glasses that did have that blue mirrored finish on them. So much for a Nike signature color! The entire staff at the second store was so apologetic for our horrible treatment at the East Stroudsburg location. I was so happy to finally get the right glasses the way we ordered them.
