Round Lake Park — Attraction in Eden Prairie

Round Lake Park is a fantastic community space that truly has it all—whether you’re visiting the splash pad with kids, relaxing on the clean sandy beach, enjoying a peaceful walk around the scenic lake, or attending one of the many fun events like the Fourth of July Celebration or Schooner Days. The park is always clean, well-maintained, and safe, with plenty of open green space, modern playgrounds, basketball courts, baseball and softball fields, a sand volleyball court, and a fishing pier stocked with crappie, perch, and walleye. This place is awesome...I often will stop here to get a drink from their drinking fountains in the summer...they even have a fountain for dogs to drink out of since it is a dog park... there's a playground area with some cool things going on...there's this one ride which is like a huge merry go round that's fun for the kids to go on. Sometimes, there is a life guard watching the lake area for swimmers. There's public bathrooms and a pavilion to eat at (usually I'll see the pavilion being used by a party of people, so I'm not sure if you have to make reservations to eat there or not). Also, there are a ton of walking trails to go on around the area, and also there are ramps for skateboarding. Lots of birds are around there too. heheh, cheep cheeps. There are also a fair number of dogs, and mostly I see the dogs on a leash and behaving well, so things are under control and safe for...

Splash pad was an incredible experience for my tots. They enjoyed the park and the beach, but my youngest, little Timmy stepped in geese poop. It was easily cleaned off by the lake because of the bacteria 🥰. My kiddos did get soaked in their target clothing, which is a shame, probably should add changing rooms. Infuriating. Really need a better service provided for the park. I have so much more to say. I had to drag my kids out of there because little Timmy was a bad role model for helga my 8 year old. They all started playing with geese poop. Really need a better service. Wow round lake. Please do better....
