My beautiful and wonderful cousin had her wedding here. The grounds over all were absolutely stunning! The maintenance crew did a wonderful job with that. The Event Manager(s) however have VERY POOR communication, lack of professionalism, are very disrespectful, and passive aggressive. We had been told by one employee that as a bridal party we may use the Welcome Center and a Tent to get ready. Mid-wedding the “Event Manager” decided to tell all of us bridesmaids that we left a “mess” in the bathroom, MID-WEDDING MIND YOU. That we were disrespecting the venue, and that we needed to clean our neatly packed bags up. So as we walk into the building LEAVING OUR BRIDE’S SIDE, the Event Manager proceed to move and touch our personal belongings with zero respect. Thus making us late for the photographer. Beautiful venue,...

WE Weddings & Events had the pleasure of planning a wedding at Goodell Gardens this season, and it was a wonderful experience from start to finish. The staff member on-site the day of the wedding was communicative, kind, and very accommodating, which helped the day run smoothly. The grounds are absolutely beautiful — we received so much positive feedback from guests about how stunning the venue was. Throughout the planning process, the event coordinator was always responsive and helpful, making it easy to get the information we needed and accommodated for early delivery of rentals. Goodell Gardens is truly a gem for couples looking for a naturally beautiful garden venue should check them out. Plus your venue fee goes towards keeping the...

Goodell gardens is a hidden -in plain sight- GEM in Edinboro. It offers numerous educational programs, hosts beautiful weddings and events, has a fabulous farmer’s market, fall festival, Friday night concert series in the summer, community events, and a huge music festival every year (The Downtown Edinboro Art and Music Festival), which has been enjoyed by thousands of visitors. Goodell has been very generous to me over the past 7 years as they have allowed me to use their performance barn to host a family friendly concert series in the summer. Our community has shared so many warm memories together in this space. I truly...

I saw this on Google Maps and thought it'd be nice to visit. Yes! It's quite lovely. I'm so impressed by the beautiful, very old trees that have been well cared for. There are gorgeous and unusual flowets and plants. There was a gathering going on during my visit. This would be great for a shower, wedding, or some other event. They have one of the nicest "comfort cabins" we've seen. The person in the Welcome Center has a wealth of knowledge, a passion for the gardens, and is very friendly. It's worth a stop here to rest and take in nature's beauty.

We took a drive here to walk around the grounds of the Goodell Estate we found it to be a nice area with lots of trees and a beautiful little cabin and garden outback there’s a nice wet area called the Lincoln point. We walked the perimeter of the grounds and was well taken care of. There’s a labyrinth which was interesting 🤔 The trees were wonderful including about 4 or 5 Eastern Hemlocks outside the house

My husband and I met at Edinboro University and got engaged there so getting married in Edinboro was also important to us as it held a significant meaning. I also always wanted a garden wedding and I got that with Goodell. The grounds were beautiful and well kept and Kim was very communicative. Our day was beautiful and fantastic! I’d live it over a million times if I could.
