When I went in Saturday morning to grab game-day gear, there were four employees standing up front just chatting and on their phones. Boxes were scattered around with shirts inside that I really wanted to buy. I asked the girl at the front if I could purchase one, and she turned to what seemed like the manager behind her. Instead of addressing me directly, the manager told the employee (while I was standing right there) that the shirts would be online in the coming weeks and weren’t priced for in-store purchase yet. Honestly, I thought that was pretty rude.
Maybe there isn’t enough room for product or the shirts weren’t processed yet, but with four employees just standing around, it felt ridiculous that I couldn’t purchase something sitting right in front of me—just because it wasn’t marked.
