We visited Bricktown Brewery a few nights ago as our Tuesday evening ritual after grocery shopping.
We chose to sit in the bar area as we're used to the service being of better quality. Unfortunately this was not the case. Our server was a taller blonde woman named either Grace or Gracie.
From the outset, we felt like an inconvenience to her. She spoke hurriedly in a manufactured tone that sounded like a caricature of customer service. After delivering our drinks, she didn't ask if we'd like to order and disappeared for several minutes. We were interested in ordering appetizers, but by the time she returned we decided that we couldn't trust she wouldn't disappear for several minutes to take our dinner order as well.
The food was delivered by a gentleman with blonde hair who was kind and asked if we needed anything else. While the flavor of our orders was adequate, the food was lukewarm as if it had been sitting out for quite some time.
We didn't see our waitress again until we were nearly finished with our meal. No ask if we'd like our drinks refilled, just wondered if we'd like any dessert, which we declined. We still left what we felt like was a fair tip, as you never know what someone may be going through.
However, when we were leaving from the back parking lot, we saw our waitress and another employee outside smoking and laughing on their phones, which seemed to explain the constant disappearing.
Needless to say, we will not be visiting again given the poor service. It's a shame because we used to really enjoy our Tuesday dinners out, but will explore other...
Read moreAbsolutely awful experience. The first server was so busy chatting with her friends, fellow employees, and doing everything she could to avoid helping us. After we had been sitting at the table for EXACTLY 61 minutes, I finally went to find the manager. I asked the manager for a new server. (My group suggested we just leave, but I was REALLY looking forward to a true Oklahoma Chicken fried steak, so we had patience) Our new server was a nice young man named Blake (I beleive) and he made the first girl look like she was a first day trainee server at a country diner. Blake took great care of our group!
Beyond that, I ordered the chicken fried steak I had been so looking forward to. Everyone else at the table ordered, the members of our group who arrived late, who had been sitting there for nearly 20 minutes FINALLY received their drinks. Then, a few minutes later, Blake returned and said that they JUST now sold the last chicken fried steak, and I would have to pick something different. REALLY???? So I ordered the salad with salmon and specifically asked for it to be medium rare so that it wasn't dry. Yeah, salmon was overrcooked, dry, and tasteless (not to mention smelling a little fishy). I didn't finish it.
No credit on the bill, no apology from ANYONE on staff for not having my order, or for the issues with the first server.
As I got up, I noticed the Ant Poison packs sitting in the windowsill right next to my table. GROSS! Is that even up to food code??
HOW on earth is this business even still open? BEWARE! AVOID...
Read moreMy fiancée was ignored by a waitress there! Very Embarrassing Moment, In front of numerous customers. My fiancée said to the waitress, “excuse me, Ma’am. “Excuse me, Ma’am”. The waitress looked at her, and kept walking!!!! My fiancée walks to her and says, “Ma’am, where’s your restroom?” The waitress says, with a smirk on her face, “oh, you were looking for the bathroom?!!” And, then, she smirked again. She pointed to the left side of the restaurant, to the far back. My fiancée calls the next day, asking to speak to a manager; she tells the manager about what happened, but the manager already had a “defense mechanism” at the forefront to explain to my fiancée about how the waitress didn’t mean any harm & so on! Basically, she took up for her employee. So, my fiancée calls and explains the situation to a manager at another “Bricktown Brewery”, and that manager was understanding, helpful, considerate, and very apologetic! Nevertheless, invited my fiancee & I to come there! Let me tell you, WE WERE WELCOMED WITH OPEN ARMS!!! Treated so kindly, and experienced GREAT CUSTOMER SERVICE!!! We’ll most definitely go back! Again, the second “Bricktown Brewery” was OUTSTANDING!!! Great crew/staff!...
