I just had a fantastic experience at Art Spot in Edmonds. Their Instagram account is @artspotedmonds be sure to follow and stay posted. Pros: Excellent prices, reasonable yet competitive. Carefully selected quality materials. Some more affordable options. Fun sales! There was a square canvas for 1.99 and some wordless colored pencils for 99 cents. I purchased a piece of paper because I was traveling a didn’t need a whole pad and the owner was kind enough to cut it down for me :’) They have supplies that I could never find at Michael’s, hobby lobby, staples, or Office Depot. OR AMAZON. Get in on their insanely elaborate pen selection. Merchandised sales floor with aisles wide enough for multiple customers or folks with accessibility needs to comfortably browse while being able to easily view the products. The employee Grace was super sweet, Brynn and she were both helpful, gracious, and accommodating. I found a seven year pen…. With a Harry Potter lightning bolt. Affirming and supportively celebratory of the LGBTQ+ community 🌈🌈🌈 Cons: I don’t live here. Thanks a million! Much love and appreciation to this family owned business for their ten years of bringing an incredible selection and vibe to this community and its visitors 💜💕🥰 Xoxo

I adore this community hub. Was about to start my first watercolor class and had never picked up a brush since grade school. I was afraid, but Vincent was incredibly kind and encouraging and supportive, not to mention technically excellent. He set me up with supplies and made me feel like I could paint. After a few weeks I showed him some of my work and he was encouraging and lovely. Yes, you could buy your stuff at Walmart or on Amazon but In my opinion, creating art is about creating culture and community and in this respect the Art Spot excels thank you to Vincent and Ziggy you rock.

This store is very interesting. The staff are very friendly and kind. This is one of my favorite places. There is a variety of art supplies and services for every kind and type. They also offer good prices for many things. Art classes are hold in the studio. Sometimes, there are art performances right in the studio.

Amazing customer service, thoughtfulness, product knowledge, and attention to detail! I can't wait to visit again.

I called an hour before they closed to ask if they had a specific brush pen in stock, which they did. I said that I didn't like this pen's nib, but I needed the waterproof ink for an urgent project and didn't have time to find something else. When I arrived that evening, the employee had the pen I asked for ready, as well as two other waterproof brush pens with different nibs for me to try. One of the suggested pens was exactly what I wanted, and it made my project so...
