Stranded by the Sea — Attraction in Edmonds

Easy to miss, but so worth tracking down. Stranded by the Sea has a wonderful collection of yarn and fiber. Most of it is really reasonable priced and they have regular community events for everyone to attend. The inside of the shop has a quaint whimsy to it that exudes creativity and they have the cheapest knitting and crochet kits around. Their real specialty lies in their spinning supplies. Tara is an incredible knitting instructor. She’s patient, knowledgeable, and kind. Stranded by the Sea offers a variety of different yarns, as well as guided projects. Additionally, the shop is cozy and feels like home. Prices are fair, especially for the quality of the products. This is a great place for socializing with other knitters as well, since Tara hosts virtual knitting socials. :-)
