Thai by Day — Restaurant in Edmonds

Needed to find a place for a group dinner that has gluten free and allergy options. Wasn't able to find online booking, but called to make a reservation. Staff were very attentive and helped us decide what dishes and combinations were best fit for our dietary needs, as well as what meat combinations went best with dishes that had choice of protein. Food hit all the staples for Thai places you'll find around Seattle, but there's a few specials I hadn't seen elsewhere, or their own variations on usual dishes that offered a nice change.

Plenty of parking in front as well as disability access.

There's a full bar with some house made variations on classic cocktails on the menu.

We had one child with many food allergies, and they were able to talk us through various options to accommodate.

Thank you for a wonderful dinner and I'll be recommending your restaurant to anyone going...

No why would I give a five star rating for just takeout? Well because this place made sure I fed seven people very well lol and actually the only reason there wasn’t enough food is because everybody loved it so much they wanted seconds lol I had to try the pad Kee Mills, and two orders of the pod time the coconut curry lol.

Actually it was the plantain curry that was also under the crowd pleaser was absolutely delicious, but the creamy crab wontons didn’t even have a chance to get cold.

They were gone so quickly. I had a lot of people to feed and this was a place for me to go. I also recommend eating in the interior is very stylish the seating was very comfortable,

I found this out while I waited for my food lol. If you want to feel a lot of people very effectively and very affordable and have delicious tasting food, you can go nowhere else on the Edmonds...

We walked in approx 7:15, after checking online and seeing an 8pm close time. We weren't sure if we'd be able to order in or out or at all given it was getting close to closing time, so we popped in to ask. The gal at the counter was quite abrupt and seemed upset or just exhausted/grumpy, telling us they close at 7:30 and takeout was the only option. We were fine with that and thankfully placed an order. The whole time she had no expression and didn't say a word other than some sighs and "It'll be 20 minutes."

The food itself was absolutely amazing in flavor and value. We will totally order it again in the future-- we just hope that if that lady was having a bad day, that things have picked up for her in the meantime and maybe we can get a friendly exchange...
