I visited this beach in late October. There wasn't anyone around! The water was crystal clear, there was a decent playground for the kiddos and the bathrooms were still open. This beach has rocks, sand, shells AND lake glass. I will definitely visit this beach again. Dogs are allowed here, but not in the water or on the sand.

Great place for kids. Excellent playground with a boat for kids to play on. Covered picnic tables, benches, and restrooms. There are also kayak and paddle boards to rent. Wonderful gardens, alive with monarch butterflies and bumble bees. Watch out for poison ivy. Adirondack chairs on the beach.

NOICE! The Bayside water is a bit warmer than the main body side. This beach goes from tiny round pebbles into bigger round rocks, and is fairly deep. There are no underwater sandbars, like the mainside. Nice little park with real toilets and hoses to rinse yourself off after you're done in the water. Snacks and rentals...
