I recently had the pleasure of dining at Big Easy, and it was an incredible experience from start to finish. The atmosphere was warm and inviting, and the staff made us feel right at home with their friendly and attentive service.
We tried a variety of dishes, starting with the Big Easy Drizzle, which was an absolute treat. The flavors were rich and perfectly balanced, a great introduction to the meal. Next, we had their signature beignets—light, fluffy, and generously dusted with powdered sugar. They were the perfect indulgence for any sweet tooth.
For the main course, we opted for the Build Your Own Sandwich, which was accompanied by crispy tater tots. The sandwich was hearty and flavorful, with fresh ingredients and a perfectly toasted bun. The tater tots added a delightful crunch to the meal.
To complement the meal, I enjoyed a Fireside Latte, which had the perfect blend of mocha and toasted marshmallow flavors. It was rich and comforting, a great pairing for the meal.
Overall, the food was outstanding, and the restaurant had a relaxed yet lively atmosphere that made it easy to enjoy a casual meal with friends. I highly recommend Big Easy for anyone looking for a great meal, whether it's breakfast, lunch, or just a...
Read moreI wanted to love this place but if beignets and chicory coffee are their signature items, there’s a lot left to be desired. Now, their bagels, sandwiches, and coffee drinks were very good. However, we love pillowy, powdery, airy beignets and that was what we drove an hour to hopefully sample. Unfortunately, the beignets were heavy, dense, tasted and smelled strongly of whatever oil was used, and had very little powdered sugar on them. It also took a very long time to get them...we were done with our sandwiches and coffee by the time they arrived. The chicory coffee tasted like regular coffee or a weakened version of chicory. So we were disappointed but this is a new restaurant and perhaps with time, the beignets and chicory coffee will improve. In the meantime, the other coffee drinks, bagels, sandwiches, and breakfast pizza are worth...
Read moreStopped here for breakfast. Took a while be be greeted. No greeter. No table service. You order at the counter and wait for you food and find a table. The prices are greatly inflated for what you're getting. For these prices I expect a full service restaurant. Yes, I know it's Door County and there's a worker shortage, inflation, blah blah blah. You are not given silverware, you have to retrieve them from the toaster bar (again, not explained that it exists, you kinda learn from other patrons). The labeled silverware buckets did not contain the right utensils, so no telling how many times they were touched before you found a fork or knife. You also had to drop off your used plates and cups in a bus pan near the entrance. Not the greatest experience. Food was ok. I'd recommend you skip and...
