One Barrel Brewing Company Door County — Restaurant in Egg Harbor

We were visiting Egg Harbor and decided some beer and pizza on the deck would be a good start to the weekend. Despite it being busy, we enjoyed our stay and would probably return in the future.

I’d say the facility is somewhat disjointed. There was no clear direction on what to do for drinks or food. However, after grabbing a picnic table on the large, outside deck, it all came into focus.

Our group started with drinks. There was a nice assortment of beers on tap, several ciders and a wide variety of can beverages. They appeared adequately staffed and the lines moved quickly. Prices seemed appropriate for the area.

While quaffing our drinks, we perused the pizza menu. I believe the pizza business, while inside the brewing company building, is actually another business called “Pizza Bros”. The pizzas are large, cooked in a wood fired stove and priced appropriately. We had the supreme, a gluten pizza and some cheese bread. Everyone from our group had their fill and took home leftovers. The pizza was good but could have used additional toppings to make it excellent.

Cleanup is all you. There are plenty of receptacles throughout the patio area. They had staff attending to them regularly.

If you like, there are several gas fireplaces also located around the patio area. If it gets cool, there are televisions with video games and an assortment of board games available inside the building.

Very disappointed! It was the last day of our vacation and we had planned the entire day around having dinner at One Barrel. The website showed they close at 7, so we arrived around 4:45. There was a sign on the counter that said "new hours-closing at 6". When we tried ordering, an incredibly unfriendly employee informed us that they were closing at 5pm. When we respectfully expressed our disappointment she had the audacity to tell us they have the authority to close whenever they want and that they hadn't broken $600 that day...sounded to me like she just had somewhere better to be. Joke is on them because at least least 6 more cars pulled in only to get turned away. AT PEAK DINNER TIME. Lost plenty of business that night. Terrible...

This a must do when in Door County and everything you want in a brewery! The best beer, delicious food and awesome family-friendly atmosphere. We've been regulars since they've opened and it gets better every time we go!

They've got an awesome outdoor space with plenty of seating and fun lawn games for adults + kids. And the inside is even cooler with board games, "classic" video games and the BEST service from their team. During our last visit this winter they even shared free samples with everyone in the place - they definitely know how to keep their customers happy!

Love the year-round hours so that we always have somewhere fun to drink/dine when visiting family in Egg Harbor! So happy to support this brewery every time we're in...
