Little Shack — Restaurant in El Paso

I am a regular customer after today. Jetniza took my order and was quite impatient as she was taking my payment, that is after she could not get my card number correctly twice while she took my order. That is not all the food was serve poorly, not the usual fish tacos set up, all the fixings were outside the tacos. Also, at my pick up time, I notice the server take my food from the counter to the back and close the curtain behind her to do I do not know to my order. I can assumed they tried to remove the avocado from it since I clearly stated I did not want avocado. However, I am not sure. My witnesses are the two other servers that were seating by the bar area. Lastly, to make my order be the last was the long thin black hair that was found on the food itself. None of the servers were wearing hair nets, but funny thing is they are in an area handling food, which is clearly odd. I attempted to speak to a manager shortly this afternoon but had no luck than to wait until Monday to speak to Ashley or Dani. I am unsure who the manager is...

This above was my review six years ago of this place, now after several visits I have to retract my review, Quality of the food underwhelming with the toritos being the size of a single tater tot. As if they never questioned themselves if they should serve them as little as they are. Fish Ceviche having little to no fish in it, but plenty of cucumber though. The oyster shot is no longer a shot. And the tuna tostada comes with thinly see through sliced tuna. I have always tried to not bother the waiters as the service was never the best, but making you feel guilty for asking for another glass of water before they get a chance to refill it themselves is something I never expected from a restaurant.

I am not usually the one to post bad reviews, but this time around, I was really disappointed. Little Shack has been my favorite place to go eat, I was basically a regular, until now. This is not the first time this happens to me especially with to go orders. The past 3 times the ceviche has tasted weird but I’ve ignored it because I didn’t think much of it. This time around the shrimp just tasted extra weird and smelled a certain way. I decide to check my shrimp and all of them were dirty. I had also ordered green aguachiles and they also tasted weird… sour and the raw shrimp also felt very gooey. Ah man, i was really indenial I didn’t want to accept it. I am extremely disappointed, I loved this place!! Idk what is going on, idk if they are not cleaning their shrimp right or the switched...
