Absolutely the worst experience ever at Jumping World of EP. What was supposed to be a memorable day for my daughters birthday party turned out to be a nightmare. All my time, effort, expense I put in to ensure everything turn out perfect for her party was completely trashed by the main people in charge of this place starting from the top. The owner of JW Entertainment who is located in Houston Hwan Kim did not take the minimal responsibility for the mess his General Manager Fernando but most of all Daniel Ramos Event Coordinators mess. To begin with, the event coordinator who I made the contract with 2 months ago Dominique promised me something and quit 2 weeks later. Daniel Ramos event coordinator took over, I confirmed with him 5 days before Saturday event and gave him a headcount of my guests, asked if the venue was ready and said everything was ready. Yesterday we arrived as planned and first thing, the room we reserved had the lights off with no AC functioning. Daniel said the AC was not working for a while and did not bother to tell me that when I called before. He offered to move us to bigger room at no extra charge which I thought was good. My guests arrived on time, ordered there food at 4 and it was 5-5:30 and only about 1/3 of all my guests had food. Some people left two hours later after waiting for their plate and never got it. No water, ice, drinks were served. Total disaster and embarrassment for my guests. It took them 2 hours to have parents sign the waiver form and wasted time the kids didn’t jump. At end , Daniel denied me ever confirming with him ahead of time, he threw the 2 young girl attendants scrambling to help us under the bus and took no responsibility. At time to pay, I was not asking for a discount of any sort. Paying was not an issue but rather wanted them to take ownership for not honoring a contract, service they agreed upon and not go through. Literally a total embarrassment that this place has all the things to make it be a fun place but the service is worst. They definitely need to redo and pay attention to retrain staff from top on program management, customer service in coordination with the other teams of the venue. Daniel at end did not feel responsible for the mess they did and blamed the kitchen manager and staff for not being prepared to serve 30 plates. Seriously! Please don’t waste your time and money at this place. They are not ready to host parties of 20...
Read moreWent here for the first time on a Saturday. Several issues. Very limited options and not enough info on the activities menu. The minimum we were told was a 2 hour jumping pass for $20 per child. I have 2 seven year olds and they wanted to do soft play as well, but it's limited to 5 and under. It's fine, but it was just frustrating that that wasn't explained when I paid. There are 3 types of people in this earth: people who don't like to have receipts, those who only take receipts only in certain situations, and people who always want receipts. I am in that 3rd category. I got an arcade card at the self serve kiosk and selected to get a printed receipt. The machine said it was printing, but did not print a receipt. I figured the machine just needed a new roll of paper and went to tell the front desk. To my surprise , I was told that the machine doesn't have the ability to print receipts even though it says it is and there is a physical slot on the machine for receipts to come out. Was told there was nothing they could do. There is no centrally located sitting area with tables in the place. There are a few benches here and there, but if you have little kids there has to be areas to sit and watch them and to perhaps eat, snack, drink, etc. it isn't practical to expect the parents to go sit in the extreme end of the store in the cafe while little kids are alone, especially sinc there's no security guarding that kids aren't taken by non parents. I estimate that a good 20% of the arcade games aren't working. Food/snack area is not staffed. You have to go ask for stuff and pay at bar.
Anyway, we paid for a 2-hr pass for the kids. They got bored after half an hour and we left.
Positives: 1) the place was very clean, 2) bowling area looked fun, 3) billiards...
Read morewent tonight and spent way too much for a poor experience. -bought two hours of bowling and the the rope and sky course for my daughter. when my daughter went for the course, there was no one there which cut into the time for my daughter to play. had to get the managers attention in order to get someone to attend the area. bought two hours for one lane which the areas are really confined and have other people from the lane next to you on top of you . the most dissapointing part was that the balls kept getting stuck in the machine not allowing them to come back to play. we had to call the technician/attendant to keep coming over to either go at the end of the Kane to push the balls back, or take the return casing off to push the balls thru the machine, or take apart the black metal dividers to tack where the balls kept getting stuck I order for us to keep playing. This caused at minimum 30 (probably longer than that) minutes worth of delays of our 2 hours that we paid for.
mind you I spent over $100 dollars on a Friday night just for the 2 hours of bowling, shoes, and sky course attraction. I came to JW's hoping for a relaxing time playing bowling with the family only to have dissapointment after dissapointment. When I let the manager know that for the money I paid, I most likely would not be coming again as it was not worth it, the only thing he told me was sorry for the poor experience and that he will have a technician take a look Monday. No sorry sir, let me make it up to you or anything.
I will say the Technician was very helpful and Ramon our waiter was very attentive. Aside from that, I wouldn't recommend JWs due to the high price, multitude of technical issues, and poor customer service from...
