I've eaten at three different Five Guys restaurants in three different cities and I've never had a decent meal. This one however set the bar lower than most any burger place I've ever eaten.
I was running a team of six IT professionals, and we ordered dinner via Doordash. The meal arrived cold with none of the fries we ordered. How do you just MISS six orders of fries? Three of the burgers were BADLY burned. There was so much congealed and semi congealed liquid flowing around in the cartons that the burgers had to be eaten with a knife and fork. However we were not provided knives and forks, so we had to eat them with our fingers. I don't know how many people have ever eaten SOUP with their fingers, but it's not easy. Oh, and the one employee of mine who ordered a milkshake got what was effectively a latte because it was that warm and runny. All that for $120 for six people. Suffice to say we've got eight more weeks in front of us, at at least two meals a day, and none of those will be from Five Guys. Ever again. For as long as I...
Read moreMan inflation has really taken a toll on Five Guys. I came out paying 12 dollars for a burger and 7 dollars for regular fries. Thats almost 20 dollars for a meal without a drink. The burger was roughly the same as I remember, maybe not as sloppy as it used to be, but 12 dollars! Now at least the burger was roughly the same, but the regular fries were one small paper cup plus 5 sragglers in the bag. And they were slightly burnt - Gone are the days of being able to share the fries with someone else - one full cup and an extra helping of fries in the bag... Used to be shareable with 2 to 3 people.
They must be doing something right, or people just spending until they're broke because this place still gets a lot of business and it has a full staff.
I'm not saying I didn't like the food, but you can probably upgrade your food quality and choices somewhere else at...
Read moreSadly this is the last time I get food from five guys. The quality of the food has been diminishing for a while but my latest experience was downright bad. First, I ordered a pickup order at this location and it was somehow sent to a location in East El Paso and wasn’t allowed to cancel. I had to order again on the physical location and I realized what was in the bag wasn’t what I had ordered. The burger has very little bacon, no jalapeños, no grilled onion, no mustard. The lettuce wrapped bacon burger without mayo came as a bowl of just lettuce, tomato and meat with a TON of Mayo and no bacon (or any of the other add ons).
TLDR: The service was horrible and the food isn’t what it used to be especially for how expensive it is. You are better of getting your...
