Scenic View Ballroom — Attraction in El Paso

This location is beautiful and it is out of the way. It is the building behind the church if you are looking for it. Cut through the church parking lot and you'll see it just past the playground. The service however... The. Worst. Ever. We were guests at a wedding event catered here and felt horrible for the bride and groom. Although it was a closed event and RSVP (my point is they knew in advance EXACTLY how many people were coming) they didn't cook enough food for the guests. A table was completely unserved and all of them left to go find food elsewhere. The service was non existence and the employees were lackadaisical at best. First of all this place smelled like rat, Secondly the owner tells my mom to tell the kids not to be running around, ughh yea let’s tell the kids not to be kids for a few hours. 🤣 then I get ID by the owner, when everyone walking to the bar is grabbing a drink w/o getting carded and plus I think he had some high school kids serving drinks probably not even licensed. I start dancing with my drink and the same owner comes up to me, not dance with my drink. Only to see later everyone dancing with their drinks, and if you get this place make sure to bring in your own air...

this wedding venue is owned by a church but so much for being people of god,they caused my friend and her soon to be husband so much stress during their wedding planning trying to change dates and throwing so many curve balls at them DESPITE their wedding contract.
