This location sucks as far as customer service goes. There selection of merchandise is also very small compared to other locations, such as the Edison store. The staff is very unhelpful and most of the employees at this location either tell you that they don't work in that department or have absolutely no idea what you are talking about. I have seen customers ask some of the female employees that work in the Appliances department questions and get rudely turned down. There first response is "I don't work in that department" and then don't even have the decency to refer the customer to someone who does. That's just plain lazy. No excuse for that. What's more hilarious about this location is that they ask for a store review upon completion of the survey that you get printed out on the receipt after a purchase. When you leave a negative review they reject it. No wonder they have a 4.7 star review out of 5 stars on there company website. I wonder how many of those reviews are legit considering that they reject any negative reviews?? Seems pretty biased to me. If you are going to shop at this location I recommend knowing exactly what you are looking for so that you will have to ask as few questions as possible to any of the staff here. Read moreI went on February 23rd at 4:40 PM I came in asking if I could return insulation I bought at Woodbridge Home Depot and one associate told me he doesnt know if he can do a return if they dont have the same insulation in their stores so he asked his supervisor. She came and said the same thing that if they dont have the same item they cant return it and she said she doesnt have it at this store and she said you have to go to a bigger home depot, I asked her can I go to linden and she said probably, but I wanted to know for sure so I dont waste time. So she got on her computer and searched for that item in the linden store and it showed that she has that same item in this store. When I pointed that out because I saw it on her screen she suddenly changes her story. Oh yea we have it in stock but the system wont let me take your return. We went to several staff and asked them: "Where can we find the mask that is not used for construction projects but is used to help with COVID-19?" The feeling we got prior to asking our question: "Do not dare bother us!" Similarly, such a vibe continued when we finally received an answer; if we can call it such: "I do not know . . . You mean masks for COVID-19?" We were like "Yeah!" in unspoken words. The moral to this expository review is to shop here if you and others are willing to deal with staff related inconsistency. If you don't, go to Walgreens instead. We did and were somewhat satisfied.
