The Elk Grove Village Historical Society which runs the museum in conjecture with the Park District has a actual farm house originated from the mid 1850's with a few updates with a barn and other out buildings. We happened to be nearby while my husband was doing a puppet show, so my dog and I walked down to see the historical buildings.
