Garden Terrace at the Pavilion — Attraction in Elk Grove Township

We planned our wedding for over a year with Garden Terrace Banquets and had our ceremony and reception there. I know we made the right choice - and I have no regrets about choosing this venue!! We worked primarily with Pam and she was so good with us, patient, kind, helpful, lots of suggestions and ideas, and also always there to answer our questions, either in person, on phone, or my favorite method, shooting her an email. They really helped to make our dream wedding a reality. If you are looking for a place that will be more affordable than most in the NW suburbs, will care about your wedding and make great effort to bring your vision to light, that will work with you and be flexible and understanding.... this is the place!!! Also, you can rent the carousel as well, we rented it for an hour during our reception, the kids and adults both LOVED it, it was a HUGE hit!! We also got some great pictures on it - bride and groom and bridal party poses after. We checked several venues, but I am so glad we chose Garden Terrace...

Our wedding reception was at the Garden Terrace and we loved it. Pam helped us through the whole process of planning, making it so much less of a headache. It was nice to have everything (food, cake, bar, wedding coordinator) included in one price, at not that bad of a price compared to many other places. They use 2 Chefs for the catering and Central Continental for the cake: both delicious and great to work with! The set up of the room the day of went well and it was just like we had talked about. The Garden Terrace has many color options to choose from, as well as other accent items like head table lights, chair covers, etc. If the weather had been nicer, we would've used the little patio attached to the room. Great if you need some fresh air! A huge thanks to Pam and the Garden Terrace for making our day flawless...

If there was another word other than poor to describe this place, that would be it. The "event coordinator" was thee most inconsiderate and no customer service person we ever met. We had to try to accomodate her schedule, took her days to reply to our emails and phone calls. Thank God we found another hall right on time. We were soooo happy to cancel the reservation we had with them, because they were TERRIBLE AND NEVER HAVE WE EVER BEEN OFFENDED WITH SUCH BAD SERVICE. Save your time, money and troubles by steering away...
