Good's Cash Saver — Attraction in Emporia

I was in your store yesterday and will never return. Your employee yelled across the store at my husband and I about masks. Your staff need trained on human decency. First off, it's not mandated therefore, it's my choice. Secondly, some people cannot wear them for medical reasons and some of those reasons cannot be seen. I, and many other people, suffer from anxiety. An invisible illness. So people don't acknowledge it. It takes everything in my power some days just to leave my home. So, imagine being singled out by someone yelling across the store. Making everyone look at us. For an anxiety sufferer that was traumatic! And I'm lucky, I have had my diagnosis long enough I'm use to uncompassionate people, but someone that doesn't know what they are dealing with would be sent into a full blown attack. When someone has anxiety, you are already short of breath, so wearing a mask does nothing except make you pass out. It's my right as an American citizen to refuse to wear a mask. I don't need a reason and I sure don't need to explain myself. But I hope to stop your employees from really doing damage to someone else. We will not be returning to Goods Cash Saver and we left yesterday spending our $200 elsewhere. Somewhere that understands this is America where we are free to choose and compassion is a retail workers...

The store is always clean and the staff is always friendly and helpful. Last week I got cash back on my purchase. When I got home I couldn’t find it in my pockets or wallet. I called them and told them my story. I was on hold a few minutes and the office clerk told me that they did have an overage on the register I was at. I gave them my name and dropped by there today and they gave me my cash. Now this is what I call old fashioned Service and a Honest staff. I will continue to shop there without a doubt! Great prices on meat products! but I don’t agree with the surcharges of 10 % at the end of the total bill, this is the reason I stopped going for shopping there. Last time I went, I spent $36.95 on food products only I was charge $3.70 on this nonsense surcharge and $2.44 on food tax making a total of $43.09 on 8 items.
