I am writing to express my concern regarding a recent visit to your establishment, which unfortunately resulted in a very disappointing experience and a serious safety incident. From the moment we arrived, the staff. primarily young employees. displayed a lack of professionalism and courtesy. One employee was visibly distracted, wearing earbuds and laughing at social media content, while another at the cash register appeared visibly annoyed by customers and disengaged from their responsibilities. As someone who worked in customer-facing roles at their age, I found this behavior unacceptable and very disrespectful. There are many young individuals who would be grateful for the opportunity to work and I am sure would approach the role with enthusiasm and professionalism, unlike the young men you had working 8/11/25. The outing ended abruptly and without warning, with all lights being shut off while the venue was still full of families and children. This created a chaotic and dangerous situation as guests attempted to exit in complete darkness. This incident raises serious concerns about both staff training and safety protocols. I urge you to consider the long-term impact of poor hiring decisions and inadequate safety measures, both of which can be far more costly than investing in respectful,...
Read moreWater features are running and caught a beautiful sunset. An underrated aspect of the property is it’s slightly elevated with no buildings obstructing the view of the mountains. $7/adult per round is more than reasonable given the quality and cleanliness of the grounds and a choice of 2 unique, well decorated 18 hole courses. I think Colorado Journey is a big step up from a generic indoor location- it has an overarching theme of traveling around Colorado landmarks in old pioneer times, outstanding running water features (when operating of course), great use of space and uneven land with multiple bridges, detailed landscaping, and thoughtful bench placement to sit if it’s busy. It feels so much bigger than it is - there’s no wasted space. The only improvement would be more creative hole design as it can be a little repetitive. I’m very happy to be able to call it my local putt putt course and recommend it to anyone visiting from out of town looking for a chill activity. Great for kids and...
Read moreBeen coming here since I was little. They have done a good job at keeping it clean and adding fun additions throughout the years. I’ve really enjoyed the addition of the giant connect four game by the club house. Hours of fun! Colorado Journey is one of the safest mini golf courses I’ve ever been to. I enjoy all the little historical features they have lying around. There’s one hole where you can go up a ramp and get a hole in one, but I didn’t get it and got frustrated, but other than that I did well. I prefer the Pack Mule side cause it’s more of a challenge, but the Conestoga route is also fun if you’re a child. Do them both if...
