I am disappointed with the service I received at Lash Dreams. Despite trying to articulate my desire for volume wispy lashes, I ended up with what can only be described as a hybrid set at best. Furthermore, I was charged an additional $25 for a lash bath, a service that was never communicated to me beforehand. I only discovered the charge when I reviewed my receipt after leaving the establishment. Mind you I came with a clean face and do not even wear makeup in my day to day.
It is crucial for businesses to inform customers about any additional charges so that they can make informed decisions. While I may be mistaken, it seemed that the technician added the extra charge to compensate for the gap between the expected revenue from the set and the actual due to the update of the service provided. I sincerely hope that this was not the case.
To ensure that I had not missed any information regarding the establishment's guidelines, I thoroughly reviewed your booking site and found no mention of a mandatory lash bath for the service.
A more appropriate approach would have been for the technician to examine their work and address the issue directly with me. Any experienced lash technician would easily recognize that this set does not meet the criteria for a volume set. Therefore, there was no need to wait for the customer to bring it up. If I had not mentioned it, I would have been charged for a volume set, which is both disappointing and reflects poorly on the business's practices.
Instead of attempting to find ways to manipulate the situation, it would have been more beneficial for the technician to focus on providing an excellent customer experience to a first time guest by acknowledging the miss. As the technician, a subject matter expert who has performed numerous sets, I am confident that you could recognize that what I was presented with did not meet the standards of a volume set. Had the situation been handled differently, I would have gladly tipped you the amount you charged me for the unwarranted lash bath. The challenging economic situation does not justify adding arbitrary charges to a customer's bill in the assumption that they won't notice or question it.

It was THREE minutes late--just three minutes! It's the holiday season, things are busy, traffic is unpredictable, and life happens. Instead of being understanding or flexible, they charged me $35 for being late and then REFUSED to do my lashes at all!
It's the holidays, and we're all trying to juggle busy schedules, traffic, and life in general. A little grace and understanding would go a long way. Instead, this business has clearly decided that nickel-and-diming their customers is more important than treating people with basic decency.
I understand that time is money, but THREE minutes? That's not a "no-show" or even a "late" by any reasonable standard. The fact that they'd rather enforce such a ridiculous fee instead of fostering goodwill with their clients speaks volumes about their priorities.

I had a bad experience in the past, that’s why I’m very particular about where to go. After I have my lashes done, I usually check them on my mirror if any lashes are clump together or too much glue. I am VERY HAPPY! I found THEM! I love an OPEN EYE wispy look! My artist name is NAYELI! It was my first time seeing her, and she DELIVERED what I wanted! I chose the Hybrid wispy-doll look! You could see the DETAIL of wispy style (short-long) and doll-eyes look! Usually, it’s hard for me to find someone who can do that because I want to see the different lengths, and she did that on a first TRY! ALSO! I came from another lash salon, and she fixed it!
I am very confident that this place will take care of my lashes and will NOT damage them. In the past, some artists would make it nice, but when I look closely, they were all clumped, having bald lashes. Be careful where you guys go!
