Hays Tree Garden — Attraction in Eugene

This place is really great! I'm not even a tree lover or expert, and I took pics of every single tree they have here! I love seeing so many different types of trees in the same area! It's clean here, so thank you, people, for taking care of this memorial park, and keeping it clean! It's really a very nice walk, and what made it that much more special for me, was that there were all these cotton things just falling all around you, like in the movie Legend, the older movie with Tom Cruise. So incredibly frustrating that my granddaughter and I spent 45 minutes trying to figure out where this place was at. On one place we're told it's out Barger area. Then the directions say that it's out by Alton Baker park. When you get to Alton Baker park where it says that it's at there's no Tree Garden there....

A wonderful spot for a stroll in a well maintained garden or to read or contemplate on one of several lovely and shaded benches. Geese add to pastoral charm but saw them become aggressive with one walking group. Easy access to Alton Baker or several trails. Lovely spring blooms...
