Nordstrom Rack — Local services in Eugene

Sadly I will never go back to this store. I was in line and "compliance police lady" told me to move a foot back onto the distance dot on the floor and I told her no. There was at plenty of feet in front of me before the next person and I refuse to live in a communist state and follow crazy rules from a lady that is on a power trip. She called security saying I was not complying but no one came after her plea and I did not budge. Terrible way to treat someone. This is not about a virus anymore but simply about controlling people now and I'm sorry your store is following right along and making your communist leaders happy that you cannot think critically for yourselves. Being followed by employees isn't the first thing you walk into a store thinking about.. nor is it the warm welcoming atmosphere you'd think from being in oakway mall... my son who is 2 1/2 lost his expensive brand new hat mind you we were unaware of the stores closing times so we only had a time spand of roughly 18 minutes.... so in that time , my small family.. and 2 other customers... elderly... all the rest employees... and my sons hat vanished i insisted so,, they took my name and number... I don't often go to Nordstrom unless I need a specific piece of clothing for an outfit. My boyfriend and I were browsing for a specific color of shorts, so as customers do, we are comparing colors and sizes walking back and forth through the men section. We understand companies go through a lot of theft but it felt like we were being watched constantly by at least five employees standing very close and glaring. Not one asked if we needed help or anything just constantly watching us. It didn't make us feel welcomed. We came from the gym and were wearing gym clothes with no big bags or anything.
