I went in to return but hoped to exchange a bathing suit,Lisa immediately started to raise her voice at me and shaking her head no. I thought the whole experience was horribly handled on her part. If it wasn’t for Marley I wouldn’t have had the great customer service in which Tjmaxx aims.I understand bathing suits can’t be returned or exchanged if they don’t have a liner. I didn’t remove the liner that is how I bought it, if thats going to be a policy, I think cashiers need to do a better job checking the bathing suits when selling them. The customer should be notified during each transaction that its been checked and to keep in mind that it can’t be returned or exchanged without it.On top of not being able to explain to her without her talking over me, my family told me about how she was behaving when she was out of my eyesight. As Lisa was walking to get a manager she had the dirtiest looks and stomping her feet shaking her head and her hands, (as to what one would call a tantrum) it was all too much. I addressed myself nicely in the beginning because I know how retail workers can be treated. I would have taken the bathing suite and sold it online if there was no aggression from the beginning. I would have thanked them for trying and moved on. I will be calling cooperate because that was horrible and embarrassing with other...
Read moreThey sure do know how to make you feel bad about yourself. I have crippling social anxiety and it's challenging to go out in the world usually but I had a gift card and wanted to challenge myself on an especially rough day. I truly wish I would have gone to Marshalls instead. Asset protection followed me around and wasn't even trying to hide it. Caught him blatantly glaring at me while I was looking at pots and pans then he gave me this incredibly offensive grin that was so fake it was cringe. Seriously dudes, wow never again. Thanks for reminding me why stores are terrifying. Also the prices are pretty high for what it is and the store is weirdly designed so it's like navigating through an over stimulating maze that is over cluttered and it's just too much everywhere but somehow not many actual variations in product. A lot of the same thing I personally don't want at all and clearly nobody else does since there's like 1000 of the same thing... It's rough in there and I do not like the unnecessary condescending vibes from people who thinks they are way prettier than they are. You work in a retail...
Read moreMy partner and I went shopping here for the first time tonight. We were looking for something very specific and we actually found exactly what we needed. But the product had visible stains on it. We thought we might be able to remove the stains and thought we might ask for a discount since we would have to take this additional step (and just hope it worked, had it not, we would have just ate the cost). When we asked, we were told they could not offer a discount, but if we purchased the item and treated the stains at home and were not able to remove the stains, then we could get a discount or a refund. We politely declined. I think this is an extremely strange policy. Usually, if you wash an article of clothing, it becomes non refundable. In addition to the fact that the company is selling a dirty product, they now expect the customer to pay full price and then do the work to determine if said damaged product is eligible for a discount or not. It's just a bad policy. I know it's essentially an outlet store, but it just seems like bad business to me. We won't be...
