Worst company to deal with ever. I feel Greyhound ethics are questionable. I had a friend that I bought a ticket for leaving out of Redding, CA to come up for my wedding. I did a will call to help ease her trouble. My friend travels almost 2 hours to get to the station just to find that it is closed and is unable to get her ticket. After trying to contact customer service 3 times because their highly trained staff hung up on me I was told she could just show the bus driver the email and he would let her on no problem. My friend did finally get on the bus but not without a fight. After getting on my friend had 5 minutes in Eugene, OR to get her tickets printed. My friend got to Seattle where the driver took 2 stubs, her not knowing one was for the ride home. After a week it was time for her to go home. My friend and I arrived at the station to check in because neither on of us has ever rode the bus before where we were told that all she had was an itinerary. I asked if he could print her ticket and rudely he responded no they don't reprint tickets. I pointed out the confirmation number and the itinerary that she was supposed to leave and he said we would have to buy a new ticket. This is a ridiculous practice and to me seems criminal that I would have to buy a new ticket when I had already purchased tickets. I then proceeded to tell him that his driver either made a mistake or they made a mistake when printing. The person then told me their people don't make mistakes and they are trained. I have news for you Greyhound, people are human and to say your people don't make mistakes makes you ignorant and arrogant. I then purchased another ticket to get my poor friend home to her family and then called customer service. I told her the story and she immediately got defensive. This tells me that this happens alot with Greyhound. I was then told by this lady as well that their people don't make mistakes and then in the same breath told to call in 60 days to see if drivers have turned in extra tickets they took by accident. Don't even bother to contact the corporate office, you won't get through. That again tells me how shady a company it is when you can't even get someone in their corporate office. All I wanted was my money back for the extra ticket I had to buy due to their inadequate procedures. I even wrote the BBB and of course Greyhound didn't respond. I wouldn't even send my worst enemy on the bus. This company obviously has so much money that they no longer need to take care of their customers.

Read moreI use Everett station often but today my worse fear about using the station, due to the way they treat people that blink or close their eyes for a moment I have a form of neorapathy called verisial neorapathy that affects your internal organs in your abdominal region It causes moderate to very extreme pain when ever I urinate depending on how full my bladder is stools cause some pain and can be as bad but the bladder is by far the most frequently the most painful The recovery can be any where from 10 minutes to several days! Today I could tell I wasn't going to have an easy one as I was already feeling pain so I used the toilet because I have passed out while urinating a couple times from the pain As I finished I new I would not be able to walk far right away so I planned my exit carefully to be less distressful to the other people using the station So I went out the back right away and collapsed on the bench out side I had to ward u my coat and hold it against my groin in attempt to lessen the pain and to help make the recover as fast as possible I often close my eyes to try to relax my nerves quicker as security walked up and rudely asked me to leave! I said I would need a minute before I could walk he said no I would leave now I got up and I collapsed in pain he kept insisting I tried two more times he was causing me so much pain and destress and was right in my face so I pushed my back pack at him not in any way that would hurt o he would back off He then grabed my head smashed my face into the wall and then threw me by my head to the ground causing me further abdominal distress! He kept telling me to leave calling me a whiner and a faker I asked him to call the police because my call symble was missing and had put itself into a box somewhere on my phone I then found it and called myself The operator kept wanting to send an ambulance Well I have had this condition several years now and know from experience that the hospital and aid car can do absolutely nothing for me I told her I was having trouble with the security and needed an officer to have them give me some space But I did not realize the EPD were medical doctors ad one of them eyeing a small was fed up piece of foil on the ground (just trash as far as I know) Siad I was constipated due to heroin use I wasn't aware bladders could due that? So the police did more harm then good and now I am tresspassed for 2 months So I need to get an attorney right away for cab expected since I won't be able to use buses for two month s Everett can pick up the tab later when...
Read moreTitle: Sound Transit: A Paradox of Priority
If I had to describe Sound Transit in one word, it would be 'dysfunctional.' On an average day, their services have been barely acceptable but the recent act of blocking off commuter parking for a farmer's market on Wednesdays is a baffling new low.
Wednesdays, apparently, are now the chosen day to throw Sound Transit's regular, hard-working, and often time-strapped commuters under the bus. Instead of securing our daily parking spaces you give it to the farmers market vendors. While I don’t dispute the importance of supporting local businesses, the decision to prioritize a weekly event over daily commuters is perplexing.
It's not just the disruption, but also the blatant disregard for alternatives. The employee parking lot, a vast, underutilized expanse, stands nearby, practically pleading to be put to better use. But in a stellar display of mismanagement, Sound Transit seems to prefer its employees enjoy vast open parking spaces while their actual customers scamper to find a place to park, often missing their buses in the process.
The farmers market is a delightful idea, and I'm all for supporting local produce and small businesses. But not at the expense of daily commuters. And certainly not when there is a ready solution that is so glaringly obvious.
In short, Sound Transit's disregard for its customers is not only disrespectful but also indicative of a larger problem. Commuters are not an inconvenience to be pushed aside for cute, weekly events. We are the lifeblood of the service and deserve to be treated as such.
Sound Transit, your latest move is a slap in the face of the many individuals who depend on your services. It's time you took your role seriously and showed some genuine respect for the people who keep your services running. Stop serving your self-interest and start serving your customers. Because without us,...
