Lots of hot delicious food just a major treat for your taste buds. John is an excellent cook, a master of the wok. I have traveled Asia and this is world-class wok icooking. I just love the Smokey fresh taste the wok brings, especially to his Mongolian beef, which can sometimes be a challenge to cook tenderly. But this is as good as it gets. And two level spicy is just right for me. I love the BBQ fried rice that comes standard with the number three single dinner under the special style section. Jade garden is one of my favorite places to come to in Everett, especially now that we've moved up near Canada Sue is such a delight and a gracious host. I ask for their honey lemon mayonnaise (that they serve with the honey walnut prawns) as a side because it's just so creamy and lemony. My order also came with a huge cup of a sweet and sour sauce and when the fried food came they didn't have it slathered already in sour sauce to make it go limp. You can add as much as you like and have some leftover to take home. Yum! Yum. One of the innovations I love is they serve such huge portions that they know you're going to take some home so they serve it in the to-go containers right off the bat. Even when you're dining in; with the extra money they save, they spend it on their lavish portions of perfectly cooked food. I love the forward thinking. Today I got the combo dinner number three, which I really recommend that you get anytime of day It gives you a whole variety of stuff. I have barbecued pork fried rice, sweet and sour pork, fried shrimp, Mongolian beef and wonton soup. it comes with tea and water They also have a full lunch menu from 11:00 to 3:00 which comes with appetizers, chow mein or fried rice and your choice of entrees. I got a side order of mixed vegetables to go, which is a big container full of food for the price. Great value for the money. This is one of the few places that does a really good honey walnut prawns where the sauce does not taste too Cornstarchy. I like to get small sauce container so I have something to take home. LP They have a good takeout clientele but they also have a lot of people that come in for their lunch break and they need something hot and ready to go. Jade garden is the only place in the area. I know that has an all-day dim sum menu of your choice of steamed and baked goodies The other diner got the shu mai dumplings, the pork dumplings and the shrimp dumpling with chives she was really really happy with it. Her pork dumpling she took with her because they were too hot to eat but she said the shu mai portions in other places were much smaller. The Jade garden dumplings were like twice as big as what she was used to. So she felt she got a really good value here and she's going to bring her friends back. This is a nice, clean, family run restaurant that deserves you to stop by and give yourself a taste treat. There seems to be ample parking in both the front and the side of the building, although I didn't spot any accessibility spaces.

Inedible. Complete waste of $45. Honey ginger chicken had no sauce and 5x more tempura than chicken. In my photo, you see the chicken strip inside mounds and mountains of tempura, no thicker than a pencil. Served with no sauce beyond the sparse, sticky honey that can be seen on the foil. Not one single sauce cup! In 2 whole $18 dinner menu meals! Nor was any sauce at all poured over chicken. You're left to try and smear whatever hint of sauce you can off the foil, as you bite off and discard huge chunks of just tempura, hunting in vain for the chicken you ordered. The front desk prominently features a sign that says "Extra Sause $$$" or something to that effect. Seemingly in some kind of grift to get you to pay more for the sauce that was originally sold as part of your meal, but was conspicuously absent. I wonder if I'd get any actual chicken if I paid double/$90? Probably not. The peking pork chops were tough and fatty. The whole of both meals was clawingly sweet with no hint of any other flavors. There were no vegetable sides like one would expect when buying a dinner meal. The white rice was extra. I genuinely wondered if the place was permanently shut down on pulling up to it. All windows covered and dark, one door sealed shut, place was empty. On entering, I found the 2 live coi fish in front extremely neglected, suffering some kind of fin rot. The food was hot - so there's that... but I would never ever in a million years go back. The place looks, feels, and eats like it's post-apocalyptic. I'm sorry - I know this is a small business, but the food was bad enough where I plated it up and tried to stay positive, but ended up throwing it straight in the trash after 3 bites. I started out feeling nickel & dimed, and ended my experience at Jade Garden feeling robbed of good money and still hungry.

My husband and I move around a lot, different cities and different states, and we appreciate the variety that Jade Garden has. While I know a lot of it is catered to local taste, it is still wholesome and sticks to the ribs. Love the dim sum options and the apps are delicious. Haven’t dined here in person, always take out, but I have a memory of a power outage in 2021 where we had someone deliver food up to a darkened house (see candles and lightsaber chopsticks) and god do we love you. That’s service. We will miss you and we are headed to rural Virginia where we will have to learn to make our own shumai.

They must have changed management. I used to love this restaurant, but something changed recently. The Dim Sum is soggy and not hot. The to-go packaging consisting of a Styrofoam package must be costly as they crammed 12 BBQ pork buns into one when obviously they should have used 2. Now my buns are all squished together and gross.

I should add that the Shrimp-fried rice that they charge you an extra $1.50 for? It tastes like normal cooked fried rice with some frozen shrimp added and mixed around. Not flavorful and not even warm when I got it. So disappointing.

The delivery guy came and the total was $25.00 after a $4.00 delivery charge. Usually they are very friendly, but this guy barely said a word. When I handed him 2 x $20 bills I expected the usual "You need change?". I received none as he started to walk away. I said "Hey, do I get a receipt?" Hoping he will look at the amount and realize that he should offer me some change. Instead, he takes the receipt, tears off the portion with only my name and address on it, and takes the entire rest of the paper with him as he literally RUNS AWAY? Is he paid so little that he has to steal my money?

Unfortunately, this is the absolute last time I will ever eat at this place, after nearly 3 years of doing so. I should add that I called them first and asked for a manager so I could complain to them in person, but none were available. When I informed the person on the phone that if I could not speak to a manager I would be writing about this online, they simply said "Good!" and hung up the phone.
