I love this pawn shop I really do. Everyone is nice, the shop is clean, the hours are good, and they always have really nice stuff. I occasionally get a loan on a firearm with them and I always feel that it is safe and taken care of while in their care. Recently I ran out of gas on my way to work. My car was stuck in a turn lane and there was no one to help me so I walked to the gas station on my way back the car was being towed and impounded. I then had to walk an hour home. Due to previous events this had a large impact to my mental state and I was now needing $500 when I couldn't even afford to get gas. Needing my car I gathered all the jewelry and what I could find and headed into their shop. Now I brought in a lot of stuff they were kind, patient, and informative. The shop was busy and I ended up doing a sale and a loan. I felt like something was off and with so much going on, getting the cash of both transactions at once, being distracted, items not being broken down by price on the slip, and just being so overwhelmed I didn’t realize what it was. These guys are great! They were very friendly on the phone and even friendlier in person. I have dealt with othe pawn shops in the past and haven’t had the best experience. The first time I went here was because I arrived at a competitors shop 5 minutes before they closed and a very rude lady told me they were closed. I explained that it was an urgent matter and was a single mom needing the loan. She didn’t care. I called Top Tier and they told me to come on in and helped me. I also felt the price was fair. If you've never pawned anything before, I suggest you go to Cash America first. That way, your hopes of getting a loan for the same price you paid for your item, will have been obliterated. NOW bring your item here and what you'll get is another offer that's soul crushingly low (for first time pawning), but it's typically better than CA's and probably the best around. When you're selling to a pawn shop, keep in mind that it's quick money and not good money. If you have the T&P, you'll get significantly more money selling on FB marketplace.
