Seriously the best Mexican food I’ve ever had! Been coming here for years. Our friends showed us Los Portillos years ago after they moved here from TX and we’ve never gone to a different Mexican food restaurant ever since. Funny enough I ran into my next door neighbor here last time and he said it’s been their favorite spots for years as well. I would recommend the Cinco de Mayo meal and ask to substitute to add chicken chipotle and shrimp Diablo. It’s honestly the only thing I order anymore after the server told me that was his favorite years ago, and so funny the staff knows me well enough now to ask if I want the usual. I was never a big Pico de Gallo fan until I found Los Potrillos, but I’m seriously obsessed with theirs. Unbelievably friendly owner and staff. Abraham the owner is extremely personable and friendly. He always comes to say hi every time we come in. I love trying new restaurants, but when it comes to Mexican Food, the only place I’ll go anymore is Los Potrillos as I couldn’t imagine going...
Read moreI am at a loss for words. I keep typing and then fail to really capture how I feel about this place. Not only is it always friendly, fun, inviting and clean but the staff there are amazing and their food, even more so. I always order pollo a la crema with bacon (if you’ve never tried please do; you’re welcome 😉) or their chicken fajitas. They NEVER LET US DOWN. Seriously. I have never gone in and them be off their game. Also, their restaurant made chips and pico de gallo is worth it alone. You can order a small or a large (trust me, order the large). I want to keep going on and on about them, but please go support this awesome restaurant. You won’t regret it. P.S.- they didn’t pay me for this but I wish they would with a years worth of free...
Read moreI would give this poor excuse for a restaurant 0 stars if I could. Firstly, I order the “Expresso Burrito,” an item advertised as including pork verde, which the menu lists as $11.25. Then they charge an extra $0.50 for pork because at the top of the menu it says there’s an extra charge for pork on menu items which have a choice of meat. Secondly, I asked the host if the “Expresso Burrito” includes sour cream, and he says “yes.” Guess what? No sour cream; that’s an extra $0.75. Thirdly, the “pork verde” wasn’t pork verde at all. Pork verde is pork shoulder slow roasted in a tomatillo and pepper sauce; this item was just a burrito with tough chunks of pork in it and covered in verde sauce. And they want $3 for a bottle of Fanta. Three...
