Well shoot. I have been shopping at this target for a very long time. I buy clothes, shoes, toiletries, health care AND pet items including outdoor bird food. I have more recently (oh and books as well, lots of reading material) been buying Starbucks drinks and have been more than happy, enough so that I switched Starbucks to this location. Until today. Horrible experience and Lisa should be not only ashamed but let go from a management position. My payment card (the same one I use there every day) was not processing and the barista called over a manager who said the card isn’t eligible for purchase or something like that. I said no, there is money on it and I use it here daily etc... When I asked her why she was being rude she replied that it was because “your being rude to me”. First of all, Lisa, you desperately need a class in customer service skills, you have none. I knew it wasn’t right and I didn’t just walk away but not rude. I was trying to just pay for my drink and go.I asked her if she wanted me to go to Fred Meyer and never to return with my business to which she relied “yes”. I asked for her manager she said “Annie”. Annie is gone until April and target doesn’t give out the names of any other managers...”we don’t give out that information”. I left and called another target and spoke a very nice manager. Justin at Alderwood listened to me, every word and then he did exactly what any good manager would do. I don’t have to explain since we all have a general sense of what is good customer service. I have REALLY ENJOYED shopping at Target lately. I have spoke to Olivia in the clothing department more than once telling her how I love the changes and the clothing is great. I have spoke to the lady who works at the dressing rooms. I have truly enjoyed Target so much and that is the only reason for 2 stars vs none. Nobody deserves to be treated poorly and ESPECIALLY Starbucks who demands their customer service to be nothing less than perfect... Target (tarbucks) Starbucks is failing. I will quite never forget that experience and then to walk out of the store with the purple hair’d employee in customer service was glaring me up and down. I WAS HUMILIATED. I got drink back where I was going before. If it ain’t broke don’t fix it. Somethings are worth leaving alone lol. I’m appalled and will never go back....
Read morePurchased a phone at Target Mobile. A dead fish looks more alive than the person who helped me. It looked looked like the job sucked their life force away.. They acted like they didn't care of I bought a phone or not. Pretty sad. When I did do the purchase the system showed one price that was wrong, but they told me it would be correct with the carrier (software issue, not staff issue). To top it off activating the phone was under maintenance so I couldn't even get the phone. Ughhhh!
Now to be fair I have to mention the good points. They came up to me to see if I needed help since I was actively looking for a staff member. They didn't look excited but they did come over. They knew where the accessories were located for the specific model when asked. They knew how the software system worked and even informed/pointed out pricing errors shown on the screen but pointed out that the back end it would have the correct activation cost at the cell carrier. I asked other questions and they seem to answer they to my satisfaction. Overall they seemed to have the basic knowledge to do their job.
At the time I visited it was pretty dead and it looked like there was only one person working the electronics area. I recommend not going over during rush hour of you need help.
Update: Another person I talked to seemed very helpful. Definitely was very active in helping out. Apparently the previous person who was helping me passed off the information to the other person and they were trying to get stuff done.. which I...
Read moreI don’t ever write reviews but from now on I’d rather wait in a long line at the Lynnwood Target than be profiled by the short white haired lady who monitors self check out. Today I went in to return a pair of shorts and I ended up grabbing 4 shirts and going to self checkout. I’ve gone to other targets and it’s never a problem to take the sensor off the shirt before I pay when the shirt has already been scanned. While I’m waiting to ask for her help I hear her helping a girl around the same age as me to open a locked box and the girl says “it’s been scanned.” Then I ask the same lady to take off the sensor from the $10 shirt I already scanned and say the same thing that “it’s scanned” and she says “I’ll take it off after it’s paid for.” K. I’ve watched her profile other people and then pull them aside to be searched and it’s one thing if she’s just trying to do her job but why didn’t she make the white girl wait until after it was paid for? Weird but I hope no one else has had the same experiences as me I should’ve known better because she does this every time I come but I figured she wouldn’t do it again considering she didn’t make the other girl pay before opening the box for her but whatever my bad. Also she could’ve just taken off the sensor and then watched me pay for it I don’t care but after I paid for it I had to wait until she came back because she immediately walked off and another customer had to tell me where she went because I looked stupid searching for her when she knew I was paying....
