Americana Grocery — Attraction in Fairfax

Had a horrible experience at the Fairfax store. Picked up a few candles and they checked out at a higher price than marked. I showed the price on the shelf to the cashier and he agreed. But then he went to the manager on weekend evening duty to authorize the refund for the difference. The manager was rude and refused to give the difference back. Instead he instructed the cashier to peel off the price sticker from the shelf right in front of my eyes! I said it was wrong for him to charge a different price than marked, and he shamelessly acknowledged that it was but couldn’t give it at the marked price. Beware of this store. Yo he sido una clients de Americans Grocery por varios años. Siempre he recomiendo a mis conocidos visitar esa tienda. Fue muy triste que la última vez que fui, compré un pollo que en el paquete parecía limpio y sin piel. Cuando abrí el paquete de pollo, me he llevado una tremenda sorpresa al encontrar huesos, piel, y grasa todo escondida debajo de lo que precia ser el pollo limpio. Además de tomar tiempo en limpiar cada pedazo de pollo, a la final era menos de la mitad lo que quedó después de limpiar el pollo. Me parece increíble que vayan a estafar a los clientes de esa manera para aumentar el precio. Esta vez obtuvieron mi dinero pero perdieron una clienta. Y me voy a asegurar que mi familia y amigos no les vaya a pasar lo mismo comprando en Americana Grocery.

I have been going to Americana grocery for a few years. I usually, tell people to go there. It is so sad that i bought chicken there for the first time and it seems to be a clean chicken with no skin. For my surprise, when I open the chicken, it had all the skin and bones hidden underneath. More than half of what it was supposed to be the chicken, it was only bones, fat and skin. I can’t believe they will do this to increase the price of the chicken. They might have got my money this time but they lost a customer and I will make sure my family and friends don’t purchase...
