Bangkok Golden Thai Restaurant — Restaurant in Fairfax

Everything about this place was superb. The staff is super friendly and very attentive. The dishes were all very good and great sized portions. And they were not stingy with the Shrimp, like so many places are nowadays. Also, this has been the only thai restaurant that has offered a large Thai iced tea. It's a great place to visit after an event at Eagle Bank Arena.

The food all looked good and was delivered fast (grubhub) but all the flavors were fishy to me or smelled off. The red curry was not sweet and the chicken was salty. The spring rolls had some extra fish flavor. The curry puff tasted good but the crust fell apart. Coconut sauce on mango sticky rice was watery. The food here is superb, and has the freshness of Thai cuisine, especially their Pad Khing Sod. Lunch specials are reasonably priced at $9.25, which is hard to find among Thai restaurants in the DMV. I also like the Pad Kra Prao Talay, which tastes just like Bangkok.

Service was really nice, and the restaurant is really clean. It can be hard to miss, however, if you don't go past the Giant, but once you find it, I definitely recommend coming here for a great...
