I’ve been going here since it opened & 1/2 that time I’ve been a member. Went there last night & had a horrible experience W/nasty staff.I understand Covid bad times, but F.T.C. Made their own bed & screwed up, not me. Middle of August saw the band “Cracker”. No masks, no I.D., no Covid Card. While there I bought tickets for last nights show, Carolyn Wonderland. My wife drove. Brought a mask & nothing else. Showed my tickets. Woman asked for I.D. & vaccination card. “I only have the tickets.” My wife said she has her Covid in her wallet. She & I said I’m vaccinated. Plus I’m in my 70’s! Won’t let me in. I said your place never mentioned new rules. You never contacted people who bought tickets previously.Google FTC opening page notes: masks required. Staff cleans,etc. NO mention of new rules unless one opens WEB site. I said “you can’t change rules mid-stream. She gets nasty. I say: give me a refund. W/attitude she says: “talk to him”. He takes tickets & plays on keyboard? that I can’t see. Looks up, sneers & tears the tickets up in front of my face! Where’s my refund receipt? “You don’t get one”. PLUS, we drove 4 hours from Cape Cod to the show. @ the Cape we went to The Music Room. High end, top quality new venue. Very small. Saw The Immediate Family. New name for 5 famous studio musicians & a lovely, helpful staff to boot. F.T.C. Managers you can contact me & bridge the gap. Highly recommend for private events! I hosted my 50th birthday party at FTC in September 2025. They were amazing to work with from start to finish. Truly exceptional event space and staff.

We brought in an 80's band and transformed the space in to a massive 80's dance party celebration. Old school videogames, photo booth, dance platforms...so much fun!

The one issue I had has been fixed (we were only allowed to work with one catering option - ONTHEMARC - and they were horrible to work with and expensive) but this has been solved as FTC now offers multiple caterers to choose from.

One of Connecticut's absolutely must see places! Always a great show, never a bad seat, awesome friendly staff. If you have never been here, you owe yourself a treat, this is someplace you can enjoy over & over again. I am not a music scene expert but I can't tell you how many performers I've seen here that I never even heard of previously, which have turned out to be some of my all time favorites.
